Breaking Away From The Habit
She just sighed and rolled over into Edward's arms to get the thought out of her head. Maybe it was just a fluke from being stressed about the funeral. "I'm going to miss you." She spoke softly against him.
He smiled. "It's just three days." He was going to miss her too, but knew they could do it.
"I know, you better call me every day." She laughed a little. She was so worn out and fighting against sleep. Not wanting his face to fade once it claimed her. Sadly it took her over faster than she would of thought and passed out. Edward smiled and watched her sleep, enjoying having her while he could.
Bella's dreams were mixed with images of Charlie and thoughts of her trip and leaving Edward. Jasper appeared in her dreams as well which was something that had never happened before. He was always standing in a corner staring at her from across the room. That bringing back the thought of her mothers old dog staring at the objects that never appeared where Jasper now stood. It was an unsettling night and by the time her alarm went off she didn't feel like she had slept at all.
With the soothing voice of Edward she pushed herself to ease awake. Given the choice of her own she would of stayed in bed all day and just said screw it. Her bag was already packed so that was one less thing to worry about. She brushed her hair and teeth, gathering her things Edward drove her to the air port.
Edward reached over as he drove to hold her hand. He pulled it up to his lips and kissed the back gently and didn't let her go until they arrived. Bella looked up at him and smiled slightly before removing her hand and getting out to grab her things. They walked into the air port together and stayed close until Edward reached the mark where you had to have a ticket to proceed. Thats when all of Bella's worries began to return.
She dropped her bag to her feet and wrapped her arms around his neck trying not to make a scene of her insecurities. She put up a good fight, but couldn't help but shed a few tears at their parting.
