Beneath the moonlight shines the truth. – (Chapter: Madison's lies.)
"She told me you were a using dyke that would feel me up the moment by back was
turned in the locker room. Also that you stole her boyfreind Aiden off her. Hey
wasn’t Aiden that Boy from English? Or was it history?" Spencer questioned me
as well as her own memory. I sighed "Yeah that’s the one and Madison has never
gone out with him. She just assumes that the head cheerleader should date the
star basketball players." I explained "And me and Aiden did date for quite a long
time but we split about a two years ago" I added; Spencer deserved to know,
It wasn’t like it was a secret anyways. "Wha…" Spencer cut herself off.
My head jerked up from it’s position to look at Spencer: before I was staring
at my bed sheets. "Spencer you don’t have to hold back. I’m a big girl I can
take it." I assured her using my eyes to plead aswell. The cold barrier around
her eyes melted and they began to sparkle a light aquamarine colour."What about
the drugs?" She asked quietly her head tilting away from me. "I’m off them.this
time for good hopefully." It was my turn to speak quietly this time. I was
ashamed I done drugs, aren’t most people? At least she didn’t know about my music
career. I mean I’d really messed that up my music was outshined by my flings and
‘Scandalous break up from unknown girlfreind’ aka Maggie.
"Well none of that’s true, apart from the drugs" I said regaining my composure.
Spencer smiled "I just wanted to know sometimes I’ll believe anything, and well
the magazines did co-incide with Madison’s tales" Spencer admitted bitting her
lip. Well fuck a duck duck there goes my last thought. I really was hoping
Spencer wasn’t going to be like that. Great another fucking Stalker groupie.
I stood up abruptly and left my room. Out of the corner of my eye I could a
stunned Spencer with hurt plastered across her face. I’d apologise later, but
for now I needed fresh air. I went to my secret place and had a quick light.
Damn I hoped Spencer hadn’t left yet. I’d only been gone five minutes and I
hadn’t heard the front door. Sullenly I wearily walked back to my bedroom. I
edged the door open to spy Spencer over by my bedstand. She had a picture in her
hands I watched her look at it then set it down then I entered.
"Look Spencer I’m really sorry for being an ass, It’s just tabloids make people
think they can have me." I shrugged going to sit on my bed next to where she had
just perched. Her back was to me but I could distinctly see a stray teardrop
roll down her perfect soft cheeks. Hesitantly I reached out to wipe it away.
"Spence"I said my voice hoarse."I’m so sorry if I upset you, truly". She turned
to face me slowly."Apology accepted and I’m sorry for being so inconsiderate I
should have thought first" She began babbling. I couldn’t help but laugh, my husky
laugh, I hadn’t laughed like that in awhile. "Spence how were you to know I was
an emotional jack ass." I said lightly pushing her. She turned round grinning.
"Well it did mention something about that in an article I read" She chirpped.
I pulled my face into a frown. Spencer looked abashed and opened her mouth to
apologise again. I swiftly brought my hand up to her lips to stop her. They
were so soft under my finger tips. I imagined tasting her, exploring every part
of her being. But I stopped abruptly when Spencer went to talk again.
"It’s fine Spence I was just joking. You’ll have to get used to that from the
marvellous comedien that I am" I grinned egotistically and fell back onto my bed.
She copied and her arm ended up flopping over my belly. When we touched I felt
a spark and Spencer must of to because she shot up so quickly she nearly
gave me a heart attack. "What’s up Spence?" I asked worried she was unhappy.
"I should me getting home, It’s getting late."
I drove her home, her house wasn’t as big as mine but it was nice. Waving goodbye
I dove along the road thinking to myself. I’d had 3 maybe more moments with
Spencer that night. Each and everyone of them left me longing for her more.
Damn it what was I going to do now??
