Baby Dyke Day at the Slopes – (Chapter: One)

We shuffled to the edge of the mountain and I started down.  After a turn, I was facing up the mountain and could glance up to see how Spencer was doing.  Not too bad, but she was going pretty slow.  At this rate, it would take us an hour to get down the mountain.  I considered this for a second – spending time with her has given me a high already – and I knew there was an easier way if we were going to go this slow.    A few more turns and I fell purposely to my knees, looking up the mountain.

It took another minute, but Spencer finally made it down to where I was waiting.  She fell to her knees, mind you, not very gracefully.  But even though it wasn’t graceful, she still looked amazing falling like that.

    “What’s going on?” Spencer asked.

“I have an idea.  Come on, let’s get up.”  I pushed myself up – I love how snowboarding gives your arms such a great workout – and pulled Spencer up.  I think I might have pulled too hard and she came a little closer to me than I expected.  I think my heart skipped a beat.  “Here, hold my hands.  We’re going to go down the mountain together.”

“Are you sure?  Won’t we fall?”

“Oh, no.  It’s fun.  And because I’m goofy and you’re regular, it’s perfect.  Just remember, stay on your edges and turn quick.”  I leaned forward onto my edge and into the mountain.  She leaned back and holding hands we managed to get to the side of the trail.  “Okay, you have to take a little wider turn, but I’m going to pull you towards me as soon as you finish the turn.”  Amazingly, our turn was perfectly executed.  We did a few more turns down the mountain and I think we got a little too cocky because we – I – picked up the speed and we promptly fell.  Well, actually, I fell on top of her.  I think I was in Heaven.  I ended up inches away from her lips.  I wanted to kiss her so much.  And then…I did.  I leaned in, and my lips touched hers.  They were so soft and my heart was beating a mile a minute – she must have heard it.  Our lips lingered…
