Another kind of Notebook – (Chapter: The Beginning)
The bright California sun shined in on a still tired Spencer Carlin. As she reluctantly pulled her sore arms from Ashley’s still sleeping form and walked into the bathroom and sighed. She looked into the mirror and saw signs of aging, Her hair turning gray, skin wrinkling, and her breasts weren’t as perky as they used to be. She was a 65 year old woman and she still acted like a dog in heat when it was just her and Ashley. ‘I’m getting to old for these all-niters. Heck even when I was 17 Ash wore me out. But now… I’m just way too old for it.’ Spencer thought, realizing exactly how sore her body was. But a small smile played across her face when she thought back to the events of the pervious night, and how Ashley seemed to never want to stop. But she had to draw the line somewhere between the hand-cuffs and the strap-on, Ashley had surprised her with. ‘A 65 year old woman isn’t even supposed to have a sex life. Much less one like mine. Ashley still can’t keep her hands off me, even after the 33 years we’ve been together." She thought as she walked back into their room. Ashley was a year older than Spencer and still looked like she did 20 years ago. How she dose is a mystery.
Today is Spencer and Ashley’s 33 year Anniversary. Spencer has planed to start the day with breakfast in bed. She walks downstairs to start cooking and finds nothing to cook. So she walks back to her bedroom to leave Ashley a note telling her she had to go to the store and she would be back later.
On the way home Spencer can’t seem to find her way home and calls Ashley to come find her.
Ashley finds her about a block away staring out of the windshield with a far away look in her eyes. "Spence, you ok?" Spencer just continues to look forward like Ashley said nothing. So she tries again only louder, "Spence!" Spencer looks at Ashley. "you ok?"
She nods her head. "what happened?"
"I don’t know one minute I’m on the way home the next, I don’t know where I am." She says getting out of the car.
