Spencer: She’s gonna be fine now.
Glen: Ok. Well, I’ll be downstairs if you girls wanna get drunk.
Spencer: We’ll keep that mind.
Ashley: Thanks Glen.
Glen walked out of the room and Ashley stepped closer again.
She reached to touch Spencer’s hair but Spencer pushed her hand away.
Spencer: Don’t.
Ashley nodded and backed away.
Spencer: There are a lot of things going on in my life right now that I just can’t seem to get a grip on. I don’t need another.
Ashley: I didn’t want to be an imposition.
Spencer: You’re not Ash. But until I figure who I am and what I want, I have nothing to offer you.
Ashley: I understand. And I think you already that I have nothing to give in return. So now what?
Spencer thought back to what Aiden had said earlier and how he was the only one she could turn to. She wanted Ashley in her life, she knew that for certain and if this was the only way, so be it.
Spencer forced a smile.
Spencer: Friends?
Spencer stuck out her hand.
Reluctantly Ashley took it and they shook.
Ashley: Friends.
The silence between them was awkward but necessary. It would take a while to get used to the idea of being friends. After all, they went from strangers to lovers to enemies in a matter of days.
Chelsea: Hey ladies.
Spencer turned to see Chelsea lingering outside the door.
Chelsea: Glen said Lyla had gotten sick and I just wanted to check in. Always playing the role of mom.
Spencer: She’s fine. She’s sleeping.
Chelsea: Good. Can I get you girls anything?
Ashley: No thanks.
Spencer: But we’ll come downstairs with you.
Spencer needed to get out of that room.
Following Chelsea down the steps they met up with Aiden and Madison who were hanging all over each other.
Ashley pushed Aiden gently.
Ashley: Get a room!
Aiden winked at his friend.
Aiden: Can I use yours?
Ashley: Gross.
Madison: We can use mine baby.

Poor poor Aiden, I hope the guy knows what he’s gotten himself into. This version of friendship is awesome! It won’t last long but it’s still awesome! haha Forgive me, I haven’t commented in a while but I still enjoy the Fanfic..It’s def one of my favorites, keep it up =P

lol yeah fool my gf got all into it after like the second episode of season 1 lmao..she jacked my ipod and took it home with her.so on to the story.it was really cute…lol ecspecially the part where there talkin bout cuddling and holding hands lol..yupp yupp…
I love their version of friendship. I don’t think it will last long but it will be cute while it lasts. I hope Spencer gets rid of Danny soon and gets her life in order so she can be with Ashley. Once again love your story and look forward to every update.

oh i’m so glad things are looking up. kind of sucks that they took a step backwards in the relationship part, but i guess its good that they took a step forward from the ignoring each other part haha. ooh ok, i promise i wont say anything more about the l word story except for its amazing. my first l word fanfiction..and..well honestly, the only one i read. haha. but of course i will not stray away from this one, its just way too good. trust me, i’m a die hard fan. :]

god damn it…i was totally going to be first comment. buuttt my dad made me leave to go get food with him and i had to walk away. it was VERY hard. i cried a little…okay thats a lie. but still. i thought about crying. and now i’m like 500th comment. gayyyyyyyyy. on a different note…i LOVED it. but now i have to wait patiently for another spashley moment. *sits in chair and waits patiently*

I didn’t get to comment on the last few chapters because every time i check there’s a new update but that doesnt bother me because i need a multiple daily fix. lol Spencer is such a great friend i want a friend like spencer lol.
