Chapter 3
The smile left her face immediately.
‘Gabby?’
‘Alice…you look phantastic. Can I come in?’
Without an answer from Alice she got in and went to the livingroom. Alice stood there and didn’t know what to think. She closed the door and followed Gabby.
Dana was at the corner of Alices floor and stopt in her tracks when she saw Gabby knocking on the door.
‘Please Alice don’t let her in’ she whisphered to herself
But unfortunately she saw Gabby entering the apartment. With tears in her eyes she turned around and left. On her way home she called Shane.
‘Hey Dana…How are you?’
‘Not so good. Can we meet.’
‘Dana what happened? Of course we can meet. Wanna come to my place?’
‘Ok I’m on my way…5 minutes’
Dana hung up and drove to Shanes place. Shane worried about her and waited impatiently.
Meanwhile
‘Gabby…what are you doing here?’
‘I came to see you silly.’
‘But I can’t remember that I invited you.’
‘What is going on with you? I thought we had a great night and could repeat it.’
‘Well that was before you left this morning with only a note on my table.’
‘But baby…I had to leave. What do you expect me to do?’
‘Nothing…just nothing. Not anymore. All I want from you is to leave my apartment and stay out of my life.’
‘You can’t be serious. Do you really mean that? Come on Alice…you know that you need me.’
‘No…I realised that I need someone to love and to love me back and with you I have neither one. So just leave and don’t come back.’
‘You will regret it and call…but hey…everyone make mistakes.’
‘You’re right and you were my biggest mistake.’
Alice opened the door and Gabby left. In the past Alice was always disappointed when Gabby left but not this time. This time she felt relieved and was eagerly anticipating Dana. But after an hour she was worried sick because Dana didn’t show up and she can’t reach her on the phone. So she dialed Shanes cell to ask her if she knew anything.
At Shanes Place
‘Maybe Gabby was just there to talk.’
‘Yeah like last night…I believe their talk consists of only two words: oh yeah baby!’

So glad Alice told Gabby to “Step off, bitch”. Shane was a good friend to be there for both Alice and Dana. I am glad Dana finally confessed her feelings. Hopefully Alice will go after her. I would be upset for Bette and Tina on being interrupted, but, it sounds like they needed to take a little break. ;-D Thanks and PPS!!
