My One Special One – Chapter 33 part2

Although separated by a phone line, in her mind Sam took Ann’s hands in hers and drew her close. Ann placed her lips to the receiver and whispered softly to Sam,
“It’s you and me, Babe. For now and forever.”
Sam held on tight. Ann was holding fiercely also. After decades of lost hope and faded dreams, there was no way either woman would let their love slip away ever again.
Sam and Ann sat quietly on the plane waiting for takeoff. Within ten minutes, they were air bound on their way to Philadelphia. They held hands and didn’t give a damn what anyone else on the plane thought about it. For God’s sake, was the world going to implode because people of the same sex loved one another?
“So other than the ‘you and I’ factor, were you at all surprised that Tina had fallen in love with a woman?” Sam asked.
“You know, other than my initial anger at myself for what I wasn’t able to do, it didn’t surprise me at all. Tina was always an independent minded girl who, once she set her mind to do something, wouldn’t stop until it was achieved. Of course, I told her over and over again, if you want something, if you believe in something, stand your ground and don’t let anyone’s opinion stop you. She listened well and I’m very, very proud of her. I can only smile now when I think back on the countless times you were on TV or in the paper and Tina saying each time, “Yep, Mom, I’m going to be a lawyer – just like her.”
“I guess it could have turned out very differently. She might have followed the same path you did, marry some guy she really didn’t really love, but felt it was the safer path to take. It’s good she’s so independent and strong. Then again, hers is a much different generation than ours, Ann.”
“Thank God, she got rid of John. I had no idea how arrogant and badly he acted while with Tina.”
“Past boyfriend?” Sam asked.

So happy to see this post. Boy Tina is really nervous and, of course all will be okay. They will like each other, much. Sam to the rescue on this one since she knows badboy John and his ilk and has the connections to take care of him. There is a special place in hell reserved for people like John, Charlie Morris and Ray, and they all will get what is coming to them in spades. Thanks for posting. Post when you can.

John Braxton soundsd like a piece of work that is going to cause lots of trouble. I hope that Sam and Ann can warn Bette and Tina before things get out of control.

I am worried that Tina is going to get hurt (physically) by John or Charle’s and his gang. They may try to hurt Tina through Bette which is just as bad. Keep them safe and also keep her mom safe.
john is crazy and hope he not hurting Bette and Tina, hope fate and destiny will keep them safe!!!
