"You forgot, that I love you too. First, Last, and Forever."

"Oh my god Bette!!! What did you do then?"

"Well, she leaned up and kissed me. I was so overwhelmed all I could do was kiss her back and cry. Oh god, Petra it was fucking amazing!!!"

"So what are you doing here then? Why aren’t you there reconnecting?"

"We don’t want to rush it. We sat and talked for awhile on the front step of the house, and then we decided that we were going to do this right this time. We aren’t going to rush in and "fuck" things up like we did just before Angelica was born. This time, we are going to date, and romance, and relearn. Yeah, we are going to relearn each other and each other’s hearts again."

Bette let her mind take her where only a few days ago she wouldn’t let it. She looked forward to the coming months. The talking, the laughing and the loving. A smile took over her face as her thoughts drifted away from the conversation she had been having with her friend.

"Hello??? Bette, you still in with me here?" Petra laughed as she saw Bette drift away into her head.

"Oh, shit sorry. Anyway, um, Tina would like to meet you. We thought maybe tomorrow we could get together for lunch or whatever, if your schedule will allow that is. What do you say?"

"Um, sorry Bette, I have meetings all day tomorrow. How about dinner? Like around 7 or so?"

"Oh, uh, well, I will have to check with Tee, but that is usually around the time Angie goes to bed. Um, maybe, we could do it a little after that, like around 8 instead?"

"Yeah, okay, you go check with your uh…Tina, and let me know okay? I’ll check my cell for messages through out the day, so leave me a message any time okay?"

"That sounds good. Okay, well, I guess I am going to go to bed, and I will see you in the morning then. Um, if you need anything let me know okay?"

"Bette. I am so frigging happy for you. It is written all over you that this is the best thing that has happened to you in a long time."
