Lara: So Porter…..I see you still among the living…how is Tina doing?

Bette: Shes ok…….I talket with her this morning

Lara: This morning……what, did you sleep with her?

Bette: (smiling) Sort of…I fell asleep on the chair beside her bed

Lara: (laughing) That will be the first for you, Bette…..but you look much better today

Bette: Thanks…….so what did you find out about yesterday. My gut tells me, that the accident was meant for either Tina or Mr. Fallon, but the question is who and why?

Lara: I agree……what did Mr. Fallon tell you yesterday?

Bette: I wrote it all down for you, but he did say that Tina was not involved…but I dont know about that…Ill ask her later today, if she is up to it. Ok lets hear what you have………

Chapter 9

While Lara and Bette started to brain storm with the rest of the crew on this case. Over at the hospital Tinas condition was changing from better to worse. Nurse Nancy called for the doctor to come to Tinas room. Her pulse was weakening and blood was filling in one of her tubes from the surgery. Nurse Nancy now got no response from Tina. She tried to call her name several times and pulling her arm, but still no response. They tried giving her many types of medicin, but nothing was helping. Finally the doctor spoke out loud. We need to open her up again. She must have some internal bleeding, we cant see on the ultrasound. Tell the OR, we are comming up with her, so they can prepare a room for us

Everyone was working really fast to get Tina to the OR, because this could mean life or death for her, since the bar had hit her main arteri, and if it had startet to bleed again, they needed to close it up fast.

While the doctors were working on Tina in the OR. Bette had no idea of what was going on with Tina. It was way past lunchtime, when Bettes phone rang.

Bette: Bette Porter speaking

Maria: Hey miss Porter……this is Maria speaking…….Charlots nanny

Bette: Yes of course and please call me Bette………..how are you?
