Nothing Like You and I (Chapter 2) – The Hardest Part
The Hardest Part by Coldplay
And the hardest part was letting go, not taking part
was the hardest part
And the strangest thing was waiting for that bell to ring
it was the strangest start
I could feel it go down, and its sweet I could taste in my mouth
Silver lining in the cloud
Oh and I
I wish that I could work it out
And the hardest part was letting go, not taking part
you really broke my heart, oh
And I tried to sing and but I couldn’t think of anything
And that was the hardest part
Oh, I could feel it go down, you left the sweetest taste in my mouth
That silver lining in the cloud
Oh and I
I wonder what it’s all about
Everything I know is wrong
Everything I do it just comes undone
Everything is torn apart
Oh and it’s the hardest part
That’s the hardest part
Yea that’s the hardest part
That’s the hardest part.
Still flashback to 7 months ago
Alice had been back from her stint in Palm Springs for almost three weeks now. In that time, she and Dana managed to avoid each other, or mainly, Alice managed to avoid confronting Dana. She did this by staying away from any group activities with the gang and boycotting the Planet. With Lara as head chef there, Alice knew she was bound to run into Dana, and worse yet, Dana and Lara. In fact, on her first attempt to enter the caf a few days after her return, Alice spotted Shane and Carmen and was about to approach them when she noticed Dana and Lara were seated at the same table facing Shane and Carmen with their backs to the door. Dana had her arms resting on the top of the sofa and around Lara. As Alice stood there, rooted to the spot, unable to tear her eyes away from the sight, Dana would occasionally run her hands through Lara’s read hair, causing the chef to lean closer into her, eventually resting her head on Dana’s shoulders. Alice felt like she had been punched in the stomach. So sickening was the sight that she ended up emptying the contents of her already empty stomach in the dumpster behind the Planet. Since that morning, Alice was committed to drinking coffee from the Starbucks a few blocks down the street. This way, she was guaranteed not experience another Dana and Lara sighting, thus, ensuring her caffeine fix would remain in her system and not in the alley behind the dumpster.

ok, I love danish but Helacious doesn’t sound bad, at least in your fic, keep going girl.
this is great – it makes the crazy spoilers seem less crazy and actually make some sense

Great story and great writing. Can’t wait for the next chapter!
Yes, you made some sense of the spoilers. Like what you’re doing with this, and love the way you’ve written Helena.
I love the story and the spoilers not so much but who knows maybe is a later season they may get back together because they do love each other too much not to try again they both just need time to sort themselfs out and to find out what and who they really what please post soon
I am somewhat pleasantly surprised. You’ve taken our worse spoiler-fears and spun them into a web where it co-exists with common sense. No shots of Creativity needed for you! Post soon, please.
Just catched your story, I’m liking it. I really like to see Hell-ena in another light and maybe she needs Al for that.
Can’t wait to see how this turns out.
Thank you
this really makes the worst spoilers sound at least bearable.. can’t wait what happens next.
