P.S. I Love You – (Chapter: Past, Present and Future)

    P.S. I Love You

What do we see in the industry these days? A lot of bands seem to sound the same now, and labels are signing the same artists over and over again. This is no insult to the artists, because we all know music does not come easy, nor is this an insult to the labels. This is a mere message telling you there are other things out there. You are currently reading an editorial unlike any other. I have yet to let my readers down, and I do not intend to start now with this article. I am well aware there are hundreds of unsigned bands out there that want and label with experience, well I have one for you. Many people know of rock star mogul Raiffe Davies who’s life was taken in a plane crash two years back, well his daughter has now opened Blackout Records. Looking for a dedicated band that seeks motivation…and a recording studio. Opened right outside the city of Los Angeles Blackout is sure to stay true to the music.

    An Editorial by: Spencer Carlin

I was walking to my car after one of my games with Spencer right by my side being the good friend she had always been to me. My phone read that I had a missed voicemail…

    “what’s wrong?” Spencer asked me

    “I have a voicemail from my mom…”

“are you going to check it?” she asked

“every time she leaves me a voicemail something’s wrong…” I said afraid to check it

“Ashley…I think you may be overreacting, maybe she just wants to know about the game…” she said smiling at me

“yeah…maybe” I said then I dialed my voicemail and Spencer kept walking until she heard my bag hit the concrete and she turned around to see my pale white face and I couldn’t move.

“Ashley…what’s wrong?” she asked worried then I called my mom

“mom…” I said with a shaky voice that could lead to tears “…what happened?….no…mom no…that’s not possible….no mom….no!” I yelled starting to cry then I hung up the phone and Spencer pulled me into her

    “Ashley what happened?” she asked

“my…my dad…his plane crashed…” I spat out “…he…he didn’t make it…” I said crying hysterically and Spencer started crying too as she held me close “I don’t have a dad…” I said with my eyes wide as tears fell freely
