PREVIOUSLY:   Ashley: “Spencer what’s wrong with you? I know your mom can be a bitch, but don’t you think that was just a little too harsh?” She looked at Spencer confused.
Spencer: “No, If she kept interrogating you, she probably would have found out about us!”

Ashley: “Look, Spence, I know your scared, but back there that wasn’t you. That’s not the Spencer I know…you sounded like…” she paused for a while. “…you sounded like me.” she said feeling guilty. Spencer gave Ashley a surprised look and realized, Ashley was right.

Spencer: “Oh my God.” she whispered.

Ashley: “Is this my fault? I can’t help but think this is because of me, I mean, we have been spending a lot of time together, maybe I’m starting to rub off on you the wrong way.” she said regretfully.

Spencer: “No, no that’s the last thing I want you to think Ash. This isn’t your fault, I don’t know what happened, I just…I don’t know, she was prying and it was too much I felt, cornered.”

Ashley: “I know I’m probably the last person you would expect to take up for Paula, but you went off on her, and she didn’t even do anything wrong. Spencer, your mom cares about you, that’s why she’s pushing this bonding thing, I only wish my mom cared enough to try and at least, stay home, and actually be a mom.” Ashley’s words hit hard, and it didn’t help Spencer feel any better knowing it was all true.

Spencer: “I have to find her.” Spencer walked back towards the restrooms and Ashley followed. “Ugh, where could she have gone from here?!”

Ashley: Ashley took out her cell phone and pretended she was talking on it “Hi mom, where are you?” she said sarcastically then waved her cell phone in the air.

Spencer: She rolled her eyes “That was SO NOT funny. And anyway I think I see her at that table.” she pointed towards the food area, and walked over. Paula was sitting alone drinking a slushy. “Hey mom.” she said innocently.

Paula: Paula looked up at Spencer “Hi.” she looked back down, playing with her slushy.

Spencer: “Where is everybody?”

Paula: “I got tired…” a lie “…so I told them to go ahead without me.” She said weakly
