You Told Me You Love Me Part 7
Alice berated herself for having had to come over again. She didn’t know why but Dana’s house had a calming effect on her. She thought it was pathetic but still she was doing it. She walked into the living room and slumped onto the couch and sat there in silence. There were a lot of things in her head which she didn’t know how to solve. She hadn’t seen Dana for five days and she missed her like mad. But she needed a break to figure things out before she found herself running back into the arms of the brunette. She didn’t want to end up hurt and then running away again when another argument took place. This time she needed to be sure. There must be one reason for her to stay. She needed to find that to be sure. One valid reason. Then she remembered one thing she had wanted to do for a while. Since she had no idea what to do she thought she might as well read all the cards and letters that Dana wrote to her. So she went into Dana’s bedroom and opened the drawer. She looked at the box contemplating whether she was ready to take the next step. After a while she exhaled and pulled out the box and moved to the bed. She opened the box to reveal the cards and the letters. Here we go; she thought and took them out, sorting them according to the date written.
After two hours Alice had almost revealed all the cards and letters in the box. The cards were ordinary wishes for both her birthdays and Christmas and the letters were just asking about her well beings and how were things getting on with her life. She chuckled several times while reading some of them as seemingly it was just one wish but Dana could ramble on and on until it filled up the whole page. Dana could be such a goof sometime; she smiled to herself, thinking nothing is sweeter than Dana’s goofy demeanour. She caressed the handwriting on one of the cards, appreciating Dana’s effort. She couldn’t help but to love the brunette more, if it was possible. She put the card down and took the final letter from her lap and opened it. She read it carefully. This time the content was no longer just asking about her well beings and stuff, this one really showed how Dana felt.

Just beautiful, uhhuh! Dana’s letter really shows her longing and regrets. Looks like it helped Alice find that inner reserve she needs to go back and stay with Dana. I am anxiously looking forward to your next post. Thanks!!
I think Alice has found her one valid reason to stay. Wow, this was wonderful. Can’t wait for your next post.
