    Just as Bette was finally making her way back to reality,
    Shane and Tina began to move across the club.
    As the pair moved seamlessly through the throngs of admirers the music
    in the club change again. No one knew if
    it was selected on purpose or maybe it was just fate, but the song seemed to be
    the soundtrack of the two women that were parting the crowd.

    Every time I come through when I step up in the spot
    Make the place sizzle like a summertime cookout 
    Prowl for the best chick 
    Yes I'm on the lookout
    Slow bangin' shorty like a belly dancer with it 
    Smell good, pretty skin, so gangsta with it
    No tricks only diamonds under my sleeve

    Tina seemed to be floating through the crowd.
    Bette was positive her feet weren’t even touching the ground. Shane followed Tina’s lead with a causal
    strut that seemed confident and unbelievably cool. 

    I know you like me

    That's why whenever I come around she's all over you 
    And I know you want it  
    It's easy to see

    The two women were slowly approaching the bar. Women were unabashedly throwing their numbers
    towards the pair and attempting conversations as they passed. Tina and Shane smiled politely and continued
    towards their destination without out speaking a single word.

    Dont cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me

    When the pair reached the bar, Shane nodded at the bartender and Tina offered a half wave.  They
    continued their silence and simply stood next to each other slightly leaning against the bar.  Drinks appeared
    instantaneously from admirers and bartenders alike.

    I know we'd have a good time 
    I'm your friend 
    I'm fun 
    And I'm fine 
    I aint lying 
    Look at me shine 
    You aint blind

    Bette heard her name several times, but was too enthralled
    with the sight before her–the vision of Tina leaning against the bar. Bette’s eyes greedily soaked up the image of
    Tina. She noticed the way the black
    pants clung to her hips and thighs. The
    way the black top hugged her body. In a
    matter of minutes Bette Porter had once again been reduced to a puddle by the
    mere sight of Tina Kennard.

    “Bette.” Alice
    said loudly once again.

    “Huh?” Bette responded.

    “We can leave.” Alice
    replied to Bette’s obvious response to Tina’s presence. ‘We have to leave or the ***** is going to hit
    the fan.’ Alice thought to herself
    while looking at Bette.

    Bette noticed the way Tina seemed to be leaning towards
    Shane. Glancing over at the taller
    woman, Bette noticed that Shane was leaning into Tina the same way. Almost as if they were drawing strength from
    one another, almost like they were

    “They aren’t? Are
    they?” Bette asked out loud.

    “*****. Tina and Shane
    are here.” A young woman at a table nearby exclaimed as she spotted the duo.

    “They are so ***** hot.”
    Another woman responded.

    “That’s Tina?” Clara yelled.
    “Holy *****. I wouldn’t date
    anyone after her either. What’s the
    point?”

    “Alice.” Bette
    said as she began to panic. “They
    aren’t? You’ve got to tell me. Are they?”

    Alice sighed as
    she looked at Bette who was pleading for an answer.

    10. I don’t think they are together. I think Tina “studied” at Shane feet ‘sex with no emotional entanglements’ and Tina’s been sexing her way through WeHo for the past 3 years. Well thats what I think but I’m probably wrong.

    12. Bette is afraid to know and in the same time she wants to know. And me too. Love this story. It seems we’ll see a different Tina. A Tina has, maybe, learn several things from Shane. Thank you for this story.

    14. I think Shane might be secretly in love with Tina, but Tina has always been in love with Bette….. her one and only true love. Shane will be really annoyed at Bette’s presents and will resent Bette for coming back just to stir up Tina emotions again.
      Please post soon, just have to love the drama that is unfolding.

    16. From the beginning I saw a hint that Shane admired Tina, but as for Tina, I don’t see her falling for Shane.

      But it’s your story and I’m interested to see where this goes.

    20. Neat. But please, whatever the Shane/Tina thing is, just fuck buddies or lovers, please, *plase* give bette some spine for once, like she deserves. She should go out and do the same thing, and for once not have bette begging tina to come back, but perhaps have them both realize over some time that they don’t belong with other people. And since Tina have Shane, maybe let Bette have Carmen..?

    34. oh man! this story is a.w.e.s.o.m.e. i think i’ll echo what others have said, that shane is teaching tina, but bette, although she’s scared, she’s got to have some reserves of confidence there. and alice and dana need to update her!! please, so excited for you to continue!

    35. I agree with static666, I adore Shane. But, based on the type of women they were both with during the first two seasons of the show, I just don’t see them as a couple. Yes, I can see Tina as a pupil and Shane as the teacher, and therefore Tina’s protector. I just don’t see them in a partnership. For what Tina wants in her life, there is Bette, and only Bette. Again, IMHO.
