Previously
“Hello?” A groggy Alice answered.
“Alice-where’s Tina- what happened last night?”
“We dropped you off at home. You passed out. I have no idea where Tina is. It’s 5am Bette”
“I’m sorry- I just didn’t know if I told Tina about Kelly last night.”
“I don’t think you did. You were out cold. Go find Tina and do the right thing.”
“Ok- thank Al.”
Bette walked to the front door and saw that Tina’s car was still there. She went out into the backyard and it saw lying peacefully on the pillow bed in the back yard. Bette quietly walked over and looked down at Tina. Her mind wandered- she couldn’t believe how beautiful Tina was. All these year later after they had met and she was more beautiful now. Bette wondered how she would explain to Tina what happened and if Tina would believe her! For now she just watched her love sleep- hopefully they would get through this next difficult obstacle in their life.
Chapter 38
Bette looked at Tina’s eye lids flutter and she could see that she was beginning to wake up. She held her breath nervous about what would happen in the next few minutes. Tina looked up at Bette.
“Hey T- You fell asleep out here” She could tell Tina was confused about where she was waking up.
“Oh wow I can’t believe I fell asleep out here.” Tina looked at Bette and saw her swollen eyes- she remembered in a flash Bette crying when she came home and passing out drunk.
“How are you feeling?” Tina asked with some coldness in her voice.
“Not great- T I’m so sorry. I should have come home with you.”
“Why didn’t you?”
“I was being an asshole. I knew you were mad, but I didn’t think you had a reason to be, so I just wanted to piss you off I guess.”
“Bette is that how you think about our relationship- I mean that sounds like something a teenager would do.”
“I know- that’s why I’m saying sorry. Why were you so mad at me?”
“I don’t like who you become around Kelly. You get entranced by her and it made me feel very uncomfortable.”
“T- I don’t know how many more times I can tell you that you have nothing to worry about.”

Yes, I agree with scaper. Dump Kelly and take your money and find something else to do because if a relationship with Tina means the world to you, it has to be big. Kelly is shallow slime and needs to learn a lesson with this one. Thanks for the update.

Wait, so Bette kissed Kelly back? Well that changes everything because I was under the impression that Kelly caught her off guard and planted one on her but Bette pushed her away. What makes the accidental kiss so unbelievable is that, and I’m not speaking for everyone here but, I’ve never been in a situation where someone got that close to me to kiss me off guard. I’ve always had time to duck or shove away from me. No one is that fast and if they were they’re not kissing properly, it would be more like bumping someone in the face. Yes, I analyzed that situation and found unbelievably impossible. Which could only lead me to conclude that Bette wanted that kiss, and it is perfectly human to want to kiss someone other than your spouse. Bette’s response of wanting to get back at Tina is understandable as well. Don’t go with a lame excuse like “she caught me off guard” it makes you look really stupid unless your girlfriend is really stupid then you deserve each other. This relationship is very toxic because Tina’s jealousy and Bette’s flirtatious nature is not a good combination. Bette needs a more confident woman, maybe Kelly, to compliment her need for attention. Tina needs someone more low key. Thanks for the awesome post.

Great update.Scaper, I love your comment and agree completely, especially the last bit…”tits up.” Even when the show was on, Bette made me mad as hell by being oblivious to kelly and her antics when everyone else could see what was going on, especially Tina. Bette doesn’t seem to notice when people are flirting with her because she is not interested and she thinks they will leave her alone. that is just stupid and some people will not give up. That is why her ass is in a sling now and Bette deserves everything that she gets from Tina. Tina is right and Bette should feel very blessed if Tina comes back to her. Thanks for posting.
Well, Tina is upset that Bette didn’t leave with her and stayed out with Kelly in the first place, so that’s one hurdle. When one isn’t listened to and something bad happens as a result, it can be a)really annoying, and b) somewhat hurtful that one’s feelings were ignored. But a far, far bigger hurdle is that Tina doesn’t seem to believe that Bette didn’t do anything. Bette will just have to work at gaining Tina’s trust, and Tina will just have to put things in perspective; Bette didn’t ask for it to happen and didn’t actually cheat on her. She needs to figure out why she’s so distrustful that she assumes something more did happen. In the meantime, Bette totally needs to completely cut off any kind of tie with Kelly. Thanks for the post! :)
