You Can Always Remember What You Can Never Forget (Chap15)

    Previously

And Bette was left holding a phone with no one on the other end. What was Bette gonna do- she felt like she really needed to win Tina back. She sat and her desk and figured out step one of her plan.

    Chapter 15

Tina spent the rest of the day at the studio with Sam. She had lost track of time and realized she needed to leave soon in order to go pick up Angie. She was sad to see her day end.

"So I’m sorry Sam, but I have to pick up Angie from day care in a little bit so I better get going."

"Oh yea that’s ok. I had a really great day Tina. I hope we can hang out again soon."

"Yea totally- I would like to start coming here more and hopefully figure out more about my job and what exactly I do. Thanks for spending the day with me."

"Yea of coarse. Just call me whenever and I will meet you here. Let me know if you want to have dinner or something sometime too ok." Sam felt guilty asking Tina out- but she liked Tina and she was thinking in the back of her mind- what if Tina never got her memory back maybe she and Tina could have a life together. Maybe she wasn’t meant to be with Bette after all.

"Yea that would be nice Sam- thanks!"

Tina and Sam exchanged a brief hug and Tina was gone. As she drove to Angie’s daycare she thought about her day and she thought about Sam. She could understand how she was attracted to her before. She was smart and funny and beautiful. She wondered what happened and how she ended up with Bette. Ahh Bette her mind wandered to Bette. She didn’t know what she was doing- she and Bette had had an amazing night the other night. She felt so close to her as she remembered the night they first made love. But the next day she woke up and that feeling was gone. She didn’t know why- but it was right back to Bette being a stranger. She knew she needed to talk to Bette more and try to reconnect with her. She just needed a break, from the pressure.

    1. Thanks for the update. I’m glad Tina wants to work toward getting her relationship with Bette back, even if she doesn’t get her memory back. I wish Sam would back off!

    2. I’m glad Tina’s recognized that Bette’s suffering too, and that she told Bette about the pressure she feels. Hopefully, this will help them build a new relationship if the old one never comes back.

    3. very nice update…it has to be difficult for both parties involved…I am glad Bette is putting a plan in motion to persue Tina whether her memory returns or not..Also bravo to Tina for recognizing that even there is an attraction to Sam that she is still Bettes partner.

    4. Great chapter. Their talk was hopefully beneficial for them both. At least they talked about the pressure they both feel and their feelings and that’s a good thing to at least talk about it. Hope Bette pulls out all the stops and romances Tina’s shoes off. Thanks for posting.

    5. Sweet. Bette needs to have patience. It must be frustrating, kind of a younger person’s Alzheimer’s but not nearly as sad. Thank goodness!

    6. what the hell is up with sam… friends like her, they don’t need… ok nice and slow… and tina will remember what its like to be loved by bette porter..pps

    7. Brilliant update and I’m so very glad that Tina talked to Bette – knowing that she’s trying to work her way back to Bette. Wonderful story. Thank you :)

    8. oh GOSH this is harder than I though it will be. Poor Bette. happy that Tin decidedto try with Bette. Sam must help them not try to take Tina from Bette. PPVS
