No! Tina come back!!! Please!! I’m sorry!!! Please don’t leave! Come back! Please turn around! I LOVE YOU!!!!!! Bette screamed into the silence of her bedroom as she awoke from yet another heart wrenching nightmare, but there was no one there to hear her pleas.

Tina had disappeared 2 years back. The police said she was as good as dead. They told Bette she should just move on, to just give up hope. Bette refused to believe that her Tina could truly be gone. Even after two years of hoping, praying, and searching with no proof of life she vowed to never give up. So in hopes of keeping her sanity and not completely breaking down she would convince herself that Tina wasn’t really gone. She would tell herself that she was just gone for a while, but she’d come back. Right? She had to come back! She couldn’t really be gone!!!

2 months later:

Bette was awoken from yet another nightmare by the non-stop ringing of the phone. She jumped out of bed and raced to the phone in hopes that this phone call would alter her doomed future, that it would be someone saying that Tina was found. Just as she though this phone call changed her life but not in ways that she had hoped for.

Hello!! Bette said out of breath

Yes, sorry for bothering you this late but this is the LAPD and we were looking for a Ms. Bette Porter. The voice hesitantly said on the other end of the phone call.

Ms. Porter, I’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but we found what we believe to be Ms. Kennard’s body. As you could imagine after 2 years it’s very hard to tell at this point. But from what we’ve seen already Ms. Porter this is her.

Bette didn’t say a word, as her heart hit the floor the rest of her body followed. She Sat there for hours just holding herself and crying for the loss of the one person that she truly with everything she had loved. The loss of the one that she was supposed to spend the rest of her life with. I guess in a way Tina spent the rest of her life with Bette, but with Bette being only 44 where does that leave her????
