Jess and Jace were sitting in Lucas’s watching videos on the website of Mason. They had been there for 3 hours.
“Jess is don’t see why watching these is helping…if anything it’s just pissing me off, why the fuck would you pick on someone like this” Jace snapped “Lucas who knows about this?”
“Everyone” Lucas explained “No-one will speak up though”
“I don’t care what Mason said Lucas you should have took this to Mrs Porter” Kayla stated “I’m disappointed this is your best friend”
“Mum I’m sorry” Lucas apologised
“Look it’s not his fault, he could have been in these videos just the same, people get scared” Jess said “Pause that!”
Jace did as Jess asked
“Lucas where is this?” Jess asked
“That’s down behind the park…as you come out the school, we walk through there to get home” Lucas explained
Jess looked at her watch. “Let’s go have a look”
“Jess it’s 10 oclock it’s dark, we should go home” Jace said
“We will once I’ve had a look…Jace please”
“Fine” Jace sighed
“Kayla thanks for everything…Lucas I’m sure the police will give you your laptop back soon” Jess smiled
Jace and Jess walked down to the allotments in the video.
“MASON!” Jess shouted
“Jess over here” Jace shouted opening a door
Jess walked over “What’s in here?”
“I have no idea, how’s you battery?” Jace asked “Mines is nearly done put your torch on”
Jess took out her phone putting the torch on.
They walked in and the door slammed shut behind them causing them both to jump.
“SHIT!” Jace snapped
“Mason?” Jess whispered “Hello is anyone here?”
“The smell!” Jace said
Jess looked around, she walked around the corner and dropped her phone when she seen Mason curled in a ball on the ground.
“Shit Jess!” Jace said picking up her phone
“Mason…Mas…it’s Jess…wake up!” Jess shook her brother
“Jesus!” Jace said rushing over, he checked Mason’s pulse and pulled his jacket off putting it over Mason and lifting him up “Jess take the phone, let’s get out of here”
They walked back over to the door
Jess tried to open it “It’s locked”
“What do you mean it’s locked? Fucking open it Jess”
“Jace it’s fucking locked…it won’t open!”
“I don’t believe this!” Jace snapped “Phone someone!”
Jess done as Jace asked “I have no signal!”
“Take my phone out my pocket and use mine”
Jess put her hand into Jace’s pocket taking out his phone “You’ve no reception either!”
“Fuck!” Jace snapped “Ok take Mason”
Jace passed Mason to Jess.
“Don’t worry Mas were going to get you home” Jess kissed her brother on the top of the head “I’m going to kill whoever did this too you I promise”
Jace looked around to see if he could see anything to force the door open.
He started kicking the door and shouting for help.
“The door is solid, it can’t be opened from the inside” Jace explained rubbing his head
