Tina had been grateful that Shaolin Studios and taken her on even with her pregnancy.  She was afraid of not making enough money to support her and the baby.  She was lucky that her reputation from Alphaville had indeed made her a legend in the independent film industry.  Her schedule consisted of 6 hour days at the studio and a maximum of 4 hours at the center.  She promised Oscar that she would stay on board even while working at Shaolin because the center had a special place in her heart. 

     She was preparing for the meeting with potential buyers for the studio.  She proposed the idea herself in order help save the company.  With flopping movies and documentaries, the dying studio was in need of not only a credential make over, but financial back up as well.  With the Peabody Foundation showing interest in film making, the studio executives needed this presentation to be successful.  Which is why they hired her in the first place, she had come highly recommended by Oscar who was fond of her grant writing skills.  Tina helped secure thousands of dollars in federal grants for the center enabling them to help under privileged families.

     The Peabody Foundation CEO had arrived on time and ready to do business.  Tina couldn’t help but notice the beautiful woman shaking hands with her bosses.  She exuded confidence and a swagger that could match Bette’s.  She watched as the CEO was introduced to all the board members making her way around the room.

“Ms. Peabody, this is Tina Kennard our hardest working producer.”

“Pleased to meet you Tina”

“Likewise Miss Peabody”

“You wouldn’t happen to work with Oscar would you, from the West Hollywood Youth Center?”

“That would be me”

“You wrote an amazing proposal, I was moved by it”

“Thank you Miss Peabody, but it was a team effort.  I work with the finest group of volunteers”

“Please Tina if we are going to be working together I suggest you call me Helena”

     Tina couldn’t help but notice the flirtatious tone in her last statement and that stare.  Helena could seduce Mother Theresa if she were still alive.  She couldn’t help but feel good that someone found her attractive enough to flirt with.  The presentation was a success for Shaolin and secured an investor in Helena Peabody.  Everyone had left her alone in the boardroom and she took the opportunity sit and marvel at the development the company has made since she has been on board.  She forgot how good the feeling of success was in the work force.  Lost in her thoughts she did not notice a new arrival in the room.  It wasn’t until she felt a pair of hands cover her eyes and whispered in her ear.
