Bette ”Joyce managed to track down Roberta Collie.”

Tina ”I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.”

Bette ”I think it may have been a good thing.  Joyce…she was able to work whatever magic she has.  As long as we agree to the shared custody…everything should be fine.”

Tina smiles.

Tina ”Well that’s good.”

Bette ”We could use some good news.”

Tina nods.

Bette ”Tee?”

Tina ”Yes?”

Bette ”What about Henry?”

Tina ”Henry’s not a factor in this.”

Bette ”That’s not what I’m talking about.”

Tina ”I don’t know.  I like Henry.  I like him a lot.  He’s a good father to his son and…I admit, that’s one of the things that sorta drew me to him.  But…I just don’t know.  I need to go talk to him.  He’s giving me all this space so you and I can work out all this.  I hope he’s okay.”

Bette ”Do you still want to be with him?”

Tina is silent at first, which is surprising even to herself.

Tina ”Bette…I don’t know.  And please don’t make any jokes.”

Bette smirks.

Bette ”I wouldn’t think of it.”

Tina ”I just wanna make sure we’re okay.  And that Angelica never has to know that any of this pain existed.”

Tina sees Angelica reaching for Mama Bee, which brings a smile to Bette’s face.  Tina sets Angelica down on the floor and watches as she is able to take a couple of steps before collapsing toward the crouched Mama Bee.  Tina cannot help, but admire the sight for a moment before looking down.

Meanwhile…

Mark continues driving with Carmen riding shotgun.

Mark ”So that’s it?  You’re just staying home now?  I mean…I’d like to think you already had a home at the apartment, but…”

Carmen ”You seriously think I wanna stay there, knowing Shane’s there?”

Mark ”I didn’t say it’d be easy.  I just liked it better before everything went so…fucking haywire.”

Carmen ”That and handling the rent without me.  Right?”

Mark ”Actually between how things are going with the documentary and some of the editing work I’ve picked up…plus Gomey’s sudden surge of popularity with what he’s doing and the cut of the sales I make from that…I’m actually good with rent without anybody.  I just like it better with you guys there.”
