    Angie is on the mend. Shane makes an observation and steps up to the plate.

    “You know what Bette? I actually want to talk about Henry with you. I want to put it to rest because it’s a big elephant in our relationship. I’m ok but thanks for allowing me to have an out.”

    We took our food outside and sat down. Before we started to talk about Henry, I reminded Tina that she was slacking with opening her envelopes. She told me if we both felt like after we talked that she would open one and then the other tomorrow at which point, she would get into a routine. I was ok with that so I looked over and asked her if I could start. She acquiesced to my request.

    “I’m not going to ask why Henry because it doesn’t matter why. I do need to know why men though. I think that was something that I never expected so far into our relationship and I want to know if I missed something along the way or what.”

    She sighed before beginning. I could tell that she was struggling with the idea of this conversation. “No, you didn’t miss anything. When we first got together I told you that being with you made sense to me. It was like there had always been something missing and finally I found that missing piece. Whether I was a lesbian or bisexual, I didn’t contemplate being with men again until shortly before we broke up. As ashamed as I am to admit, I knew that I had some feelings but nothing that I had to explore. I started looking at men again because I knew it would devastate you.”

    There it was. I finally heard what I had been thinking for some time. “That it did so you were successful there.”

    “Bette, understand where I was then. I was beyond hurt and I was confused. I couldn’t see myself with you again and I wasn’t sure that women were my forte at that point. I knew that I had had ok relationships with men and I understood it so I decided to go the safe route.”

    “Safe,” I asked not totally following her.

    “Yes safe. I could be with a man because it was just giving a part of myself. With you, I gave all of myself. Obviously since I didn’t realize until I was with you that something was missing, I didn’t fear being hurt by a man. They would never reach the places you had.”

    3. Awesome job Newy! I’m really enjoying this, and glad that they are taking things slowly and actually talking. Your story brings up an interesting point for me. I find it curious that virtually all the B&T stories on this site have suggested that Henry and Tina did not have sex in B&T’s bed, as if that somehow made it less “wrong”. to have fucked against the bedroom door. Personally I don’t see the difference. So I’m left with the question – was Tina lying to Bette when she told her that she and Henry did not sleep in their bed? With no judgement intended, my opinion is yes.

    4. I need a cold shower after that! Simply awesome and I love how they are communicating about everything, even the not so easy to talk about stuff. Post again soon:)

    8. I only fell behind by 4 chapters but WOW what great 4 chapters they were. I loved how they worked as a family (the entire gang)when Angie was so sick and how they opened up to one another. Of course the hot and sweaty sex was awesome but so was the conversations that they shared with each other.

    12. Newagekid, you were correct, on the show Henry and Tina were kissing in the kitchen when Bette walked up the driveway and saw them. And also on the shoe they ONLY had sex against the door. Tina never let him into their bed, thankfully.Socal, tou are misinformed about the location of them making out. Evidently you missed that episode. PPS

    14. Ending with all that sizzle simply put me over the TOP! Whew! I just enjoy this story more and more everyday — and I loved it since the first chapter! PPS
