At that moment two police officers walk into the room having heard all the commotion from downstairs. Jessicca looks at Mary who is sitting against the wall with a shocked look on her face. Jessicca starts walking towards Mary who is now looking straight at her. Mary stands up and throws her arms aroud Jessicca and begins crying on her shoulder.

Jessicca: Shhhh its alright it is all over now are you okay?

CHAPTER TWENTYEIGHT

Jessicca wraps her arms around Mary holding her gently against her as Mary continues to sob uncontrollably.

Jessicca: Mary look at me.

Mary looks at Jessicca with tear filled eyes and sees the concern and worry in these green eyes that have captured her attention since the first day she saw them.

Jessicca: Are you all right? We don’t have to go out tonight if you aren’t up to it there will be other days.You can be with your parents tonight if you prefer. I understand.

Mary: I am okay. Just a little shaken up that’s all. I still want to go to the movies with you tonight.

At that moment Tina enters the room and looks around. She sees Mary and Jessicca and walks over to them. Mary sees her Mom approaching and watches her as she gets closer then as Tina starts to rub her back she flinches causing Tina to look at her with a sad shocked expression.

Jessicca released her hold allowing Mary to give her Mom a hug.

Mary: I am so happy to see you Mom I was worried about you. I wasn’t sure where you were.

Tina: You were worried about me? Mary I was going crazy trying to get help for you.

David: I WANNA PRESS FUCKING CHARGES AGAINST THAT WOMAN THERE!!!! ( pointing at Jessicca)

Officer: Oh? Really? What for?

David: Breaking into my house.

Officer: We didn’t see any sign of forced entry. The front door as a matter of fact was wide open.

David: WELL SHE FUCKEN BROKE MY NOSE!! She attacked me.

Officer: Are you trying to tell us that that little woman over there beat you up?

David: Well Yes! YES she did.

Officer: (laughing Hyterically) Sir she is half your size how could she possibly hurt you? I think you are just drunk and tripped over the carpet falling resulting in your broken nose.
