Tina gasped at the feeling of having the brunette’s hand in her own. It was electric and it scared her so much that she quickly pulled away. ”I’m Tina”
Bette chuckled at Tina’s obvious nervousness and motioned for Tina to sit at her table.
”I’m sorry for being so forward. It’s just that I can’t take my eyes off of you Tina” Bette said as Tina chuckled and blushed as she sat down.
”Um wow ok? If I didn’t know better I would think you were trying to flirt with me” Tina said and was stunned when Bette grabbed her hand and rubbed it gently in hers.
”Well you are very astute in your thinking. I am flirting with you. I apologize if that makes you uncomfortable. It’s just that you took my breath away when you walked in here” Bette admitted and released Tina’s hand figuring she had said enough and went too far with the older woman.
Tina chuckled in amusement and was deeply flattered by the attention Bette was showing her.
”Bette? If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?” Tina questioned raising an eyebrow as she was certainly curious.
Bette frowned, folded her arms, and looked down at her lap as if she were being scolded.
”19” She muttered expecting Tina to laugh at her.
Tina smiled reaching over with her hand lifting Bette’s chin up to meet her eyes.
”Well I’m 38–twice your age. You should spend your time and your evident charm sweeping the girls your age off of their feet and leave us older women alone to worry about our ever growing cellulite problem” Tina said which earned a smile and chuckle from Bette.
”You? Cellulite? Not from where I’m sitting” Bette said scanning Tina’s torso up to her chest that was showing the right amount of cleavage.
Tina chuckled and blushed again as Bette refocused her gaze on Tina’s flawlessly beautiful face.
”So you admit that I charmed you?” Bette asked cocking her eyebrow and curling her lips into an amused smile.
Tina chuckled and blushed again
”Yes. I admit that you did. You are very sweet and very charming and I really do need to get back to my table now. Even though you shouldn’t have, thank you so much for the wine.” Tina said as she went to stand up but was stopped by Bette’s hand grabbing her wrist.

Any outcome is going to break everyone’s heart in the Kennard/Porter family, including Tina’s ex-husband and Melvin especially if he invested in Tina’s company. Bette really needs to break all ties with both of them. If push comes to shove she will be the sacrificial lamb. Very intriguing story … looking forward to more.
