At Danas

Alice and Dana ate more than they should have and in the midst of their foreplay both wound up with nasty gas, stomach aches, and fighting each other for the toilet. Dana’s place could have been deemed as a hazardous zone by the time they were finished. Each lay helpless on the floor, one in the bathroom and the other just outside of it.

“Argh!” Dana moaned. “I’m convinced she was trying to poison me,” she groaned rolling onto her side facing Alice who’d found the strength to partially sit up.

“Whether she was or wasn’t, means ***** to me right now,” Alice protested. “The fact that I got my groove skunked is what I’m pissed about. This is some fucked up ***** Dane,” she fussed.

The next morning

Alice and Dana woke realizing it was a workday and they each had a lot of things to do. Alice had to report to the magazine for some new assignments, while Dana had to cancel the wedding arrangements that were made, call a locksmith, something she should have done already, and check in with her publicist to find out what her game and promotion schedule was going to be like. Since her latest campaign, Dana had been getting a lot of offers and needed to find out which would be the most lucrative for her game and her image. She realized she hadnt checked her messages when she came in and called in to retrieve them before waking Alice up. There was one from Spiegel, the German magazine owner who had been in the US working with Roger to run an ad in his magazine. There was a call from Roger babbling with excitement about a trip to New York City. Dana gleamed at that call. And the final call was from Tonya berating her for their break up, and then seconds later apologizing and saying she was just upset from the breakup. Dana rolled her eyes and erased the message. She looked down on Alice and grinned. Alices head pinned against her back with her arm around her waist. She was snoring slightly and Dana smiled. Having always been a morning person, she slid out the bed letting Alice sleep while she showered and went through her morning ritual. When she was about to get dressed, she woke Alice with a gentle nudge.
Hey sleepyhead, Alice groaned and waved Dana off. Come Al its time to get up and face the real world, Dana nudged her again.

Are you ***** nuts Fairbanks? Its gotta still be too early? Alice whined, pulling the sheets over her head and curling in a tight ball. Plus, my stomach and ***** still hurt from all that *****, pun intended, last night. Alice curled even tighter in a ball.

Dana got on the bed, pulled Alice to her, and ripped the sheets off her warm body.

***** aye, Dana! Alice yelled. Im not a damn friendly person when Im sick, she protested fighting to get the sheets back, but Dana wouldnt let them go.

Al, Ive got to check in at the office and go over some campaign stuff coming my way. And guess what? Dana didnt wait for an answer. I may have to go to New York! She said with a *****-eating grin. I also have to get to the club to work out, so I cant stay home today, she argued. Hey, and dont forget I gotta make some changes to the locks and the key codes in that, you know? In case Tonya tries to do something stupid.

Hearing that, Alice jumped up. Flashbacks to her car and the damage Tonya did to it pissed her off.

Yeah, I almost forgot about that *****! Alice snapped, and Dana looked at her wide-eyed. Glad you said that. I gotta make sure I get the rest of the info to the police and the insurance company. I wish I could get my hands on that *****! Alice made the choking motion before resting her head in Danas lap. You smell pretty! Alice complimented as Dana blushed.

Yeah, ya do, and you better get used to the damn compliments woman, cause I cant take confirming myself statements, fucknut!

Dana pushed Alices head off her lap and dove on top of her. They play wrestled for a few minutes until Alices stomach started twisting again.

*****!

What?

My stomach, Alice cradled herself. Do you have something, anything I can take for this? She groaned.

Dana got up and went in the kitchen to see if she had some medicine. All she could find was some Tums and some outdated vitamins. She poured four Tums into her hand and returned to the bedroom where Alice was still writhing on the bed.

Here ya go, Dana handed the Tums to Alice who snatched them and chewed them ferociously. Any relief yet?

Alice shook her head. Need a few minutes I suppose. Hey, do you have any mint tea or mints?

Dana thought about it and shrugged her shoulders.

This sucks *****! Alice groaned, sliding off the bed and toward the bathroom.

Dana went back to the kitchen to see what kinds of tea she had. There was no mint tea, but she did have some mints. She ran back to the bathroom and spoke to Alice through the door.

I found some mints, what do you want me to do with them?

Crush em up, put them in a cup, and pour hot water on them. I can drink it and it should make me feel better.

Dana could hear Alice groaning on the other side and quickly walked away to do what Alice asked. After making the tea, Dana waited in the bedroom for Alice. She packed her sports bag, made some notes in her planner, and called Roger back to let him know shed be there soon. Alice came out of the bathroom looking a little better than shed gone in, and anxiously took the cup from Dana inhaling it, in what seemed like one sip.

Ah, thats so much better, Alice smiled for the first time. Okay, what were you saying about New York?

I may have to go, Dana grinned. If I do, wanna come with me?

***** yeah! Alice batted her hand at Dana. But until I know for sure, I guess I need to get my ***** in gear before I have no job to go to, Alice walked around the bed to gather her clothes.

I feel bad with you having to go home in the same clothes you came here in, Dana reached out for Alices hand. Let me get you something to wear and maybe you can leave a few things here for another time,

Alice smiled at the sound of that. It made sense to her seeing as theyd be spending a lot of time together at either place.

I guess youll need to get some stuff for my place too, Alice moved closer to Dana. Im really enjoying our time together Dana, Alice stroked Danas face.

Me too, Dana said softly, gently kissing Alices nose.

The familiar feeling of heat began to rise in Dana and she knew this morning was not a good one for them to get back in the bed, so she eased out of Alices arms.

I better get you home before we start something were not sure we can finish, Dana grinned devilishly.

Alice smirked, Yeah, true. Lemme change and we can go.

A little later

Dana dropped Alice off, kissed her, and headed off to the club. She maneuvered her way through traffic listening to the radio and singing happily. A song came on that reminded her of Tonya and she got upset and then a little sad. Memories of their brief time together flashed through her mind and everything that Alice said made her thankful that it was now over. I can’t believe I was so dumb and naive,’ she thought. ‘What’s worse is that I woulda married her if Al hadn’t stepped in. *****! That would have been a disaster. Thank God for you Al, you really saved my *****!’ She continued her thoughts before finally reaching the club.

Dana hopped out of the car moving quickly to the locker room, changed, and went to find Roger who was with Spiegel going over some ad ideas and a proposal. Spiegel smiled while ogling her as he had done before. Dana grimaced at the thought of knowing what was going through his mind. He knew she wasnt into men, but still enjoyed looking at her.

Hey Dana! Roger got up, greeting her with a hug. Spiegel extended his hand instead, still wanting to maintain their professional relationship. Have a seat, he pulled out the chair for her. Got the messages right?

Yes, Dana grinned. So when do I leave? Sounds really exciting, Dana fidgeted, still feeling Spiegel eyeballing her.

We were just going over the details and it looks like I can have you on a first class flight in a couple of days, Roger smiled and Spiegel nodded.

Wow! Thats great, Dana jumped up to hug Roger and even Spiegel. I cant wait to tell Alice, she blurted out without thinking. Roger and Spiegel stared at her. It is okay if I bring someone right?

Roger looked at Spiegel. Its your campaign, Roger directed his attention between Dana and Spiegel who seemed to be lost in thought. I see no problem with it personally.

Dana looked at Spiegel with pleading eyes.

Yeah, I guess its okay, he said in his heavy accent. Just dont get distracted and remember this is work first, meine schatze, Spiegel smiled.

Meine what? Dana asked.

Means, my treasure.

Oh! Dana laughed. Well, call me with the exact dates and Ill be ready, Dana got up to leave. One more thing, can you swing her airfare too, Ill cover her incidentals, Dana used her charm on them to sway their decision.

Spiegel, is that cool with you?

Yes, I can work with it. Youre lucky youre so hot Dana, too bad I dont have a chance with you, he offered chauvinistically.

Dana blushed as she walked out the door. Yesss! She jumped in the air. She went out to the court and hammered away at the balls until her time was up and she went in to shower and leave. Gotta call Alice, Dana mumbled to herself. Shes gonna be so happy.

Dana walked into the locker room and right into Lara.
