“Hey,” Bette said pedaling her bike closer to Tina’s, “I need to tell you something.”

“What?” Tina said looking over to Bette.

“You look really great,” Bette stopped because she couldn’t hold in her laughter, “in those pants.”

Tina laughed along with her and said, “fuck you. Fuck you!”

Their chuckling was overheard by Jenny who slowed her bike down to pedal next to exstatic Nikki who humming like a little girl to a tune on her ipod.

“Hey,” she said.

“Hey baby!” Nikki said excitedly.

“You think it’s weird that Bette and Tina are lovey dovey all of a sudden?” Jenny whispered to her.

“Well, they were lovers for eight years weren’t they?” Nikki said.

“Yeah, but they had a very nasty breakup, two times” Jenny said.

“So? They have a daughter together, I think it’s great that they get along,” Nikki said smiling.

“I guess,” Jenny said narrowing her eyes.

“Hey, look at that cabin at the pit stop,” Nikki said, “wanna have some fun?”

“Nikki, we’re not allowed in there,” Jenny said.

“Since when do you follow the rules?” Nikki said.

“Right!” Jenny said with a grin.

“Let’s hurry,” Nikki urged pedaling faster.

“To your left,” they heard Bette saying as she passed Tina crossed her to the other side of the street.

Jenny couldn’t help but notice the way Tina looked at her. It was that same look she used to give her when she had first come to L.A. ‘What the hell is going on?’ Jenny thought to herself.

Nikki and Jenny hid their bikes behind the cabin before sneaking inside slowly.

“Okay, we have to hurry!” Nikki laughed looking out the window as Jenny started taking off her diva scarf.

“If someone comes though, we have to hide,” Jenny said giggling like a little child.

“Hurry!” Nikki laughed unbuttoning her shirt.

When they heard the front door opening and hushed whispers Jenny and Nikki froze in their spots.

“Oh shit!”Jenny whispered.

“I’m out!” Nikki said opening the window hurriedly and jumping out.

“Nikki!” Jenny whispered. She was too far from the window to jump out and the voices were already getting close. She dived down onto the floor and scooched her small body under the bed.

She groaned inwardly when she saw the closet mirror hoping they couldn’t see her reflection in it.
