It was hard to think of nothing else,

I could try to figure out what it would be like for Dana right now, would Bette treat her right, play with her heart,

I hope not, Dana is still fragile from her other relationship,

Alice and her band practice quietly as the summer rains sweeps threw the town, the streets look as black ice, and the lights barley come on.

Aunt Jena finally awakes after her comma, she leaves about four-dollars for me on the table,

‘Get a burger or something’ and left out to work.

I finally get the house to myself, and decide to call Dana on my old phone, no one answers,

I get up the urge to call over Bette’s and what do you know she’s there.

Bette answers sweetly before she recognizes my voice,

Dana comes on the line after a very short pause from Bette,

“Hey Shane, bored yet.”

“I’ve been bored, I think I need to just take a long nap, yesterday was great though, thanks for loaning us the car.”

“No problem what are friends for, hey have you seen Jenny today?”

“No, why, has she been missing,”

“I think she’s trying to hide from mom, she must have found the library and decided to lay low their, good place.”

‘The whole while i’m thinking could Tina be over their as well, and if she is, how do I go about asking for her,

“Dana who’s all over their,”

“Well if your thinking T is here, she’s not, she walked out of her house five minutes ago with a cigarette in her hand,

she was walking south, but guess who’s here,”

‘I could see her smiling like a clown in the phone,

I take more than five seconds to answer.

“Carmen”

“Bingo.”

‘I nearly cramp up, the weird feeling in my stomach turns into a dulling sensation.

I guess it turns out that Carmen is a bit rich herself then, she always came to school with new trends and fashion, she got over last night I suppose,
