    Kit, snap out of it, Alice crisply snapped her fingers in front of Kits face, as if to encourage the release from her meditative state. I know its weird to see, but thats the way people act when theyre at the beginning of a relationship.

     

    Kit blinked a few times and turned her gaze away from the dance floor and toward Alice.

     

    I could probably handle it if they werent being so lovey about it, Kit sighed. She waved toward Bette and Helena. But look at them. Its sickly sweet, those two.

     

    Kinda makes you wanna barf doesnt it, Alice mused. You have to admit, they do make a hot couple.

     

    I dont think of Bette as being part of a hot couple, Kit said to Alice plainly. Shes my little sister.

     

    Well it looks like your little sister is about to put her hand down the front of Helenas pants, Alice observed as Bette teased along the top band of Helenas slacks. She shook her head before continuing. That woman could seduce a nun on the steps of the Vatican.

     

    Helena Peabody aint no nun, Kit scoffed. I still dont entirely trust what shes up to with Bette.

     

    Helenas a different person Kit, Alice rose to her defence. Shes recognized the mistakes shes made. She obviously loves Bette. Theres no mistaking the way she looks at her.

     

    I dont know why they have to be all up in each others business on the dance floor, Kit said. They both have a home to go to.

    Kit and Alice are looking over here, Helena said quietly, as she felt Bettes hand meander in a very private direction. Her arms rested over Bettes shoulders, loosely holding one wrist with the opposite hand.

     

    I cant resist you, Bette replied with a broad smile. She then whispered directly into Helenas ear. I dont want to resist you.

     

    Helena grinned at this admission from the woman who had only been publicly her girlfriend for a matter of a few short months.

     

    Do you have any idea what Im going to do to you when we get back to your place? Helena asked as she drew Bette in closer.

This line made me laugh..That woman could seduce a nun on the steps of the Vatican..lol..good one..will Bette get her keys back from Tina..I wonder..you write so well, is there going to be heartbreak for Tina with her dad and also with Henry…seems a little suspicious being away for the weekend..this guy has got to get the elbow soon…please. A nice touch Bette and Helena being their for Tina, nice to read that they are all getting on. It would be overjoyed if Tina was happy with a woman in your story.

    4. i was wondering, especially after reading some comments…what do B&H have in common except for sex and some things that happened to them (like kids, ex’s, tina)…i guess it’s hard to see knowing that B&T’s love was always perceived as true love…it’s not hard to imagine bette with someone else because it could happen and probably will, but tina was always bette’s true love in my mind…anyway, just random thought, i enjoy your style and you know what i think already

    9. I have to comment again. I agree with your other fans. I am a huge TiBetter and while B & H are sexy as hell, Bette & Tina really belong together. It’s a testament to your excellent writing that so many of us are willing to accept the HeleBette relationship. It also doesn’t hurt that they are hellahot.

    16. Love it, love it, love it. The scenario also provides the perfect segue for a genuinely civil encounter, and we’ve been so starved for that. Given the subtle hints of the last few epy’s your storyline may also be a premonition of things to come in season 4. However, as much as I like the pairing of these characters on paper, I simply can’t see RS having the same chemistry with JB as LH does. RS, to me at least, simply doesn’t look natural in her love scenes. However, I’m sure it would be quite hot if the two actresses did a wee bit of preparation before hand!

I still think that you will soon pull something out of the hat that will leave no doubt as to Tina’s feelings and Bette will have no chance but to react to them…whatever they are….

    19. Damn it!! I’ve been very Tibette sided over the last few days (and chapters!), then I read page 1 and I’m like woohoo!! I love HB!!! But, nope Tina’s dad’s dieing, she needs Bette. So I’m back on Tibette :( I just been thinking a lot about the fact that just because your sexually attracted to someone else doesnt mean you dont love your someone. *sigh* what a mess IC has made!! I’ll continue to read your story though, even if it is tearing me in two! :)

I was feeling all glum this weekend with the looming prospect of seeing my job cut from the budget, and I re-read this entire Helena/Bette story – I absolutely love how you have made this pairing so believable and hot and warm and funny and did I mention hot. But how come Tina wasn’t waiting in her car that should have been parked in an obvious spot, like the driveway instead of hiding in the dark of a home no longer hers to enter at will?

    41. JKS, Another wondrous addition to this wicked tale of new and old love. The generousity of Helena and Bette in Tina’s time of need was deliciously drawn out. That is what being a family is all about; being there whenever someone needs you. So typical of the alphas to sotrt everything out and allow Tina to face the true horror of possibly losing a parent. Beautifully crafted and constructed making it painfully honest. I loved the juxaposition of Bette and Helena coming home to Tina’s disovery of them. Marvelous melodrama. Thank you so, so much.
