    Unforgivable- Chapter 7

There was an awkward silence in the car for the rest of the ride to Shane’s house. After arriving, the both get out of the car and head towards the front door. They could hear Master of Puppets by Metallica, blasting through the speakers of the house, even before they got out of the car. The front door was wide open and Shane was drinking a beer and banging her head to the music as she walked around the house, not noticing the two women walk in.

Jaycee gets Shane’s attention by jumping in front of her, playing air guitar and singing along to the song, “Needlework the way, Never you betray, Life of death becoming clearer. Pain monopoly, ritual misery, chop your breakfast on a mirror!”

Shane doesn’t get shocked. Instead, she joins in, singing along as well, her friend still playing air guitar and she singing the chorus. Shane didn’t notice Carmen in the doorway.

“Taste me and you’ll see, more is all you need, Dedicated to, how I’m killing you!”

They begin to sing into Shane’s beer bottle as if it were a microphone, “Come crawling faster, obey your master, your life burns faster, Obey your master, Mast…”

Shane stops abruptly when Carmen makes her presence known.

“Shane, Carmen needs to talk to you,” Jaycee says as she turns down the music.

“No, I don’t want to, not right now.” She responds, shaking her head.

“You’re going to listen to her whether you like it or not. You’re either going to do it willingly, or I’ll force you- you choose.”

Shane looks at Jaycee with an “I don’t believe you” look.

“You don’t believe me…? Okay, Carmen, close the door.”

Carmen closes the door as soon as Jaycee walks up to Shane and before she could react, she was pinned with her arms behind her back, sitting in a chair. The tattooed woman grabs a nearby roll of duct tape and tapes Shane’s arms to the chair.

“What the fuck man!” Shane yells. “Let me the fuck out of here!”

“No Shane, you need to shut up and listen to her. You always storm off mad before she can explain- you said yourself this morning.”
