“Tina, they need you on set!”

Tina just shakes her head, Thank god this movie is so close to being finished.

Leaving the studio, Tina promises herself a nice vacation once filming
is done in a couple of months. Walking into the planet, Tina looks to see if
any of the Gang is here. Having moved to LA, 6 months ago, Tina was grateful to
have met a great bunch of friends. She first met Alice who interviewed her for
the LA times. The fact that Tina was the youngest studio executive at Alpha and
a female was apparently news worthy. Alice later introduced her to Dana, Shane
and of course Kit who owned the planet.

“Hey, Baby girl, how has your day been going?”

“Kit, I will be so glad when this film is over! They are driving me insane!”

“Well, why don’t you take a load off, Alice and Shane are at the usual table and if anyone can take your mind off of work it is those two! What can I get you to drink?”

“A nice cold beer will do just nicely, Thanks. I will be over with Shane and Alice”

Walking to the table it appeared Alice had something on her mind, by the way her hands were moving about and Shane seemed to be doing her best to ignore her.

“Shane, are listening to me? Bette, is coming back after being gone for 7 months and didn’t even tell me! I had to find out from Kitt!”

“Oh Oh Shane, Alice sounds pretty upset, you better be listening to her.” Tina chuckles.

Shane looks up at Tina and with no expression on her face says, “Run while you can Tina.”

“All right you two, don’t start in on me. I mean Bette and I are best friends, I thought for sure she would want to let me know!”

“She did through Kitt, Alice” Shane replies.

Tina’s curiosity is piqued “Is Bette, Kitts sister you’ve been telling me about? That has been off on some art thing?”

 “The one and the same, first she was off visiting different museums, galleries and artist on behalf of the CAC, than she decided to take a couple months vacation in London! I know there is a woman involved, for Bette to stay away that long!”

 “When is she due back? From what you tell me she seems like an interesting person. So what if she has found someone?”

 “Oh no Tina, Bette doesn’t do relationships. She is kinda like you, to alpha and to much of a player!”

 “I am no such thing!”

 After hearing this Shane looks up at the two ladies with a grin, saying
“Ya, Right Tina! How many numbers did you get last Friday at MILK and who was the red head you left with?”

 “I think her name was Sue or was it Shelly, anyway I just remembered, I left a bracelet at her place when I made my hasty retreat. Oh well. So Alice, when is she coming back?”

 “She is coming back tomorrow, Thursday and Kitt wants us all here Friday to celebrate Bette’s return and yes that means you to Tina! Be here for 8pm.”

 “I should be able to do that. Right now though I am exhausted and am going home to soak in my tub and then off to bed. I have an early day on set tomorrow. Night Ladies.”
