Angie was still out for the count exhausted from the strain of the last few weeks. The four of us sat playing that damn card game and trying to relax when the doorbell went.
Rachel went to answer and when she returned I nearly fell off my seat. In strolled Peggy and if I had not been sat opposite her I would have thought the second person was Andy,
“Libby I thought I told you this morning that I had no interest in seeing you.”
The cold tone in my new friend’s voice shocked me.
“You did but like I Said I need to see you it is very important and as much as I hate to ask I need your help.”
Andy sniggered as though it were the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard and went to leave the room, as she got to the door the second woman shouted after her.
“You have another sister Andy, they have another baby to try and defeat, she is three her name is Holly. If you won’t stop and listen for me then please do it for her, she needs you.”
Andy stopped and slowly turned.
“Tell me about her?”

Andy just sat and listened, as the woman who we had learned through the talking for certain was Andy’s sister. Although the resemblance was so strong I think we all figured it out the minute she entered the room.
Libby showed us a picture of their new younger sister, even at the young age she was you could see she was like the woman sat opposite me who I had come to love in the past days. I looked at Andy now she had tears running down her cheeks and a pained expression that I could not quite fathom on her face. She was looking anywhere but at Rachel. Her eyes would not connect with the blonde woman’s.
On the other hand Rachel was watching Andy intently and had been since Libby and Peggy had been allowed to stay almost two hours previously. This created a dilemma for the rest of us, as we were not sure who to look at to gauge the situation and how we should react.

Another great installment Ellie. Sure hope they get on with the adoption of Holly, everyone seems to have a need for this to happen then maybe Angie will not be as upset when her time comes for the abortion. The adoption will change Andy and Rchel’s lives and they can take some of the angst away about having other children. Great post.

i think i said this once before,why cant andy and rachel adopt angelicas baby and they all could be an extended family just my thoughts.
Great chapter. Well I hope Angie will be ok and Bette and Tina will by her side and take care of her. Hope everything will work out with Andy and can’t wait to see they big day. Beautiful, sad ,but they all will make it. Angir, will have a lot to live with but her Moms are with her all the way and the rest of the group. Holly will know what love is and to be with Andy ana Rachael will be like heaven to a three year old. thanks
