    Tina in a thousand cities – ch.2

Tina, Tina, Tina, how much I adore you, Sun of my life !

    – "How much I adore – " *ouch !*  " – moonlight" *well done, Porter*

    – "Me too, that’s so peaceful…"

You’re everything to me, Tina, everything…

Everything I could ever just dream to get… Everything that someone else enjoys, someone else is blessed enough to know, to savour, every minute of every hour, each day and night – all nights and days…

We talked together for a moment, about light things, casual topics…

But I couldn’t say how long it was. Certainly not as long as I love to remember…

And so ? For me, it was timeless, like moonlight. A stolen piece of eternity, a priceless shared moment with Her…

To hear her voice, to speak with her, freely, was such a bit of true happiness !

For I wasn’t as terrified as usually to show too much emotions on my face : the shy light coming from the always so sweet silver star protected me from any kind of analysis –

    – "Oooh,my goodness, three o’clock ! Well, Ms Porter, I’ll try to find sleep again or my poor hubby could be worried !"

It was only when my beautiful angel suddenly said these words that this living dream breaks.

And so was my heart – shattered in thousands pieces…

Her "hubby"… For the very first time, I forgot she’s a married woman… Happily married…

    – "It truly was a pleasure talking with you, Ms Porter. You know what, we should do that again one day, don’t you think so ? A little five o’clock, perhaps !"

She’s laughing, so I did my very best to laugh too – well, sometimes I admire myself…

    – "It would be my pleasure, Ms Kennard, anytime !"

    – "Great ! Good night now – or should I say good morning ?"

Again this sweet and pretty irresistible giggle… Oh, my !

    – "Well, a good morning seems more appropriate indeed !"

She’s already gone, but her smile, her so beautiful and so warm smile, still wraps me…

It’s only now, being alone again, that I let my own smile growning and growning like never before !

We talked together ! And she appreciated it if she so obviously wishes to do that again, right ?

    Euphoria is a shortlived craziness.

I suddenly realized how I never stopped to call her "Ms Kennard", unconsciously erasing the "Parker" part of her name…

What a naive way to make her attainable, just fort a while, during this magically timeless moment !

    How silly are you, Porter…

And how hopelessly in love are you, big old romantic girl…

    *Sighs*

    1. Therese, thank you so very much for your most personal shout out. Yes, we have shared emails over the past year and then some, and I’ve forever been awestruck by the beauty of your perception, your passion, and your devotion to love itself. You are a gem of a woman, and writer….goodness, you fit right in perfectly. This chapter left me feeling both passionate and yet isolated through Bette. Gosh, Tina’s married and Bette is in love with her. In fan fiction we can always make it turn out right can’t we? I hope that Bette treads lightly, carefully, with a bit of trepidation. However, love has a way of navigating one through the most illogical courses, driven by pure feeling and genuine emotion. I eagerly await your next post, and thank you so much for posting as soon as you did! Love and Hugs…oh and….Live well, Laugh often, and Love much. * wink *

    2. My heart is with Bette, loving so much.knowing that you could never have the love of your life. There is always a “but” os Tina happy with her hubby? Why was she awake so early in the morning? Bette needs to walk softly with Tina. she needs to keep things to good morning until Tina changes it. thanks

    3. Hello Beautiful Therese…

“The key to change… is to let go of fear.” – Rosanne Cash

I sit here with a simple beautiful song playing in the background as I read your incredible words… I sit her listening to “Adore” by Collective Soul as your words… your emotions… your souls pours over me…

Your words are so powerful so full of resonance and passion… so full of life and love… it holds a trembling sense of fear… and freedom all at that same time…

As I read that passage from “The Price of Salt” I was washed over with memories… not to be forgotten memories of a recent past… of a pain… of a loss… for that was a gift I gave to a very dear friend of mine… who much like yourself found herself ‘Trapped’ lost and confused…

She found herself… unfortunately she was not able to enjoy the freedom she had discovered for long… but the short time she did have her freedom… her true identity she was ‘happy’ she was free…

“The secret of happiness is freedom. The secret of freedom is courage.” – Thucydides

When I first saw your name on that Authors line I was so beyond happy… I was ecstatic… for the moment you choose to come out of the shadows… to create this masterful piece of art… the moment you felt confidence in your words… in your heart and in your soul… but most importantly in yourself you gave us all a gift… you gave us all the treasure to share within you a new universe… a new soul… a new adventure…

You have given of yourself freely… the trembling fear that you feel in your words we feel in your words… for each of us here… those that have shared words… shared experiences… shared joy and loss… and fear and darkness… we are all connected within the words… within the universe of our very emotions…

Thank you so much for sharing with us… thank you for pushing forward… thank you for creating poetry and music that sings to my heart and soul… thank you for your incredible strength and your unwavering passion…

      Love and Hugs,
      Always and Forever,

JC (Latin Nephew to those Salsa Angels ever loving Cuzzie to the ever talented Eunichick and Personal Fanner to the ever incredible Deean)

    4. I popped back in to see if the rating system had reset so I could give you a second ‘five’ stars… this is so not anything less and don’t you believe otherwise!

    5. Hi babe..thanks for such a lovely shout out. I can’t express how proud I am of you…you have such a way of capturing Bette’s love torn heart…almost making her childlike. I love seeing Bette in that way. The way she left the Parker out her name made me feel her yearning for Tina. I have to agree with BTforever…you right so poetic that at times I felt like I was reading a sonnet. Thanks for this wonderful chapter…hugs and kisses T

    6. Awww How the sight and presence of your beloved one always shakes you completely, deep inside, huh? Your throat suddenly has this knott and you find yourself filled with so many emotions that no words seem to come out of your mouth. Yes, we can feel what Bette does. Even the pain on her chest. Tina’s imsomnia we can understand. Being the usual night owls we are, we completely empathise with her. However, we know how painful those one sided love affairs can be. But, if those thoughts bring out the best romantic prose out of you, then, we feel we have been blessed. Keep unveiling those marvelous inner feelings, which move our hearts to the very core. PPS Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks.- Lucero & Marsha (Proud Salsa Aunties to the ever loving JC and Eunichick) P.S. We were surprised that you could even remember our long time ago PM to you. We never got a reply, but we see that it reached out and touched you, which was our main purpose. *wink*

    9. this story is like reading poetry…it’s beautiful and i can totally feel Bette’s pain for unrequited love is something that i know as well…i hope we’ll get a happy ending in this story (i will also go and get The Price of Salt to read)…thank you

    10. Therese, God your writing is just exquisite. I could feel Bette’s adoration for Tina by your carefully chosen words. The whole chapter just flows without effort. You are a very sensitive writer. I feel for Bette. Unrequited love can be a b***h.
