Bette: That’s her Kit!

Kit smiles and grin a bit, now she know why Bette can’t get her mind of that girl.

Kit: Oh is it, then go and talk to her, before it’s too late baby sis.

Bette in totally shock: No, that doesn’t seem right. Can’t you help me?

Kit: Should I go over there and say " Hey, my sister who is sitting there at the bar would love to go out with you, and she can’t get you off her mind. "

Bette take Kit in a grip: No, of course not. But I have an idea. When they ask for the cheque I go there and have a slip with my  number and name and hopefully, she will contact me right after.

Kit can’t help but smile at her sister, she is already falling for the person, and she doesn’t even know her.

Kit snap Bette out of it and into reality. She stands up and walk up to the table and smiles and ask:

Do you want a refill on the house?

Tina and Vanessa both look at each other and then at Kit. There is a silence and both women get up and ask Kit for a hug, and tell her how much they enjoy her music. They couldn’t believe their own eyes. That the one and only Kit Porter standing there. They just laugh at the situation.

They can’t really accept her offer about the refill on the house, but they would like a refill and give her some money for it.

Kit smiles at the two younger ladies and turn around and walk up to the bar and make them the refill. Tina’s eyes got caught of someone and they just sit there staring at each other. Tina is so embarrassed that she turn her attention on Vanessa instead, and hope that she didn’t see any of it. But she did…

Kit to Bette: Her name is Tina Kennard.

Vanessa: Psst, Tina isn’t it that woman from last night?

Tina: yes it is, and that’s why you have to hurry up and eat your sandwich. So we can get out of here soon as possible.

Vanessa: sorry to say this but it looks like someone is heading this way.

Tina looks up and quickly stand up to go to the lady’s room. I’ll be right back she says to Vanessa.

Bette had decided that she couldn’t just sit there and wait for her woman to come up to her, so she hops down the stool and make her way over to their table. But when Tina get up she stop up and head to the same destination as the blonde girl.

The restroom:

Tina stands in front of the mirror and is about to turn on the water to splash some of it in her face.

The door open and there she is again, why can’t she just get out of my way Tina thinks to herself.

Bette: I didn’t get to tell you acceptance on your offer last night before you were gone. But I would really like if we could sit down and have that drink and also that dance you talked about if the offer still stands.

Tina don’t want to make eye contact with her: Oh, so that’s what you want huh. Sorry about last night I shouldn’t have stopped you, it was a big mistake and I’m so sorry. I totally regret it.

When Bette hear the last part of what Tina is saying, she has that sad look on her face again and Tina can’t stand it to see that woman with that face expression, so she walks slowly up to Bette and look her in the eyes and says:

You are a beautiful woman and deserve much more. But a drink or two wouldn’t hurt. But stop staring at me as I’m some kind of goddess.

She put her hand on her stomach while she walks out the restroom.
