The woman tapped Tina on the shoulder, but Tina continued staring at Bette, and the woman got annoyed

-Hey you big *****, snap out of it!!

Tina: (She knew exactly who that was and she turned around) Alice! (She gave her a big hug) What are you doing here?

Alice: I should be asking you that. I thought werent coming back for another couple of weeks?

Tina: Well we finished early and I decided to come by and surprise Bette! What are you doing here?

Alice: Im a reporter remember? This is my job. anyway this place is so cool but tell Bette that she needs to find other people that have some sense of humor

Tina: Ill make sure and tell her she needs to accommodate all your needs next time (Rolling her eyes)

Alice: Whatever..so what happen with the whole Eric thing?

Tina: You know who Eric is?

Alice: Well you mentioned his name a couple of times and I spoke with him for a couple of minutes and he told me he used to date BetteWhen I saw you and Bette come out of her office he looked pissed, I was just like Ill wait until everything blows over until I came over to see you soooooo what happened?

Tina: Hes a nice guyBette talked with him a little and he came back and Bette introduced us. It was a little awkward meeting her ex

Alice: Oh! was that Bettes sister, Kit Porter, with her? I still cant believe they are sisters.that is cool!!

Tina: Wait! Your telling me you know who she is? Not once did you tell me that she had a sister and that she was Kit PorterI feel like a total a**

Alice: Hey dont get upset with meit was your woman who should have told you, not me.

Tina: Yeah your right

Alice: Hey! Do you think that you could ask Kit if she should would like to sing for us at Milk?!

Tina: Ummmmthat sounds like a great idea but Im not sure she would want to go to ***** bar, since she just told me that she’s straighter than a ruler

Alice: I just said sing, not make out with all the women there..(Pushing Tina in the direction of Kit) just ask her

Tina: Godwhy do you have to be so pushy?

Alice: What can I say its the reporter in me (Stopping a few feet from Kit) She is so coolnow ask her

Tina: ok.(Walking over to Kit)

Kit: (Noticed Tina) Hey theres the woman that stole my sisters heart (Gave her a hug) what can I do for ya?

Tina: Well a friend of mine (pointing to Alice and Alice waves) would like to know if you would like to sing at a club called Milk?

Kit: Yeah that sounds cool!!

Tina: But I want you to know that its a ***** club

Kit: Thats fine (Taking out her palm pilot out) S*** Im still having a hard time using this thing(Handing it to Tina) you know how to work these things? Just putit in my schedule for next Saturday, is that ok?

Tina: Oh yeah that would be great! (Taking the instrument from Kit and putting it inshe handed it back)

Kit: Thanksmy manager suggested I have one of these things since I prefer doing a lot of things on my ownnow go tell your friend over there that everything is cool.

Tina: All right(She walks over to Alice) every thing is cool!

Alice: Really? I told you just to ask herwhat did she say when you told her about the ***** thing?

Tina: Well she took the ***** thing wellshe just said its fine.

While Tina and Alice were talking Bette was watching them from across the room. She wanted to know who that woman was, she knew she recognized her from somewhere, she just couldnt remember. She had finished making her rounds and she went over to Tina.

Bette: Are you ready to go T?

Tina: (I love it when she calls me that,… snapping out of it) oh umm I want you to meet a good friend of mine firstcut off

Bette: (Oh now I remember) Alice, right? (With her radiant smile)

Alice: (Oh s***! That smile,… snapping out of it) ummm yeahthats me! So you still remember me?

Bette: Well to be honest I did forget, but all I had to do was remember that article you wrotewhen I read it all I could say was wowIm glad I did that interviewother interviews and articles are boring thanks for just being yourself

Alice: Well thank you for the compliments but also for making Tina a one woman woman.

Tina: Alice!!

Alice: What?

Tina: Nothing we are going to go nowwell see you later (She grabbed Bettes hand)

Bette: It was nice meeting you again.

Alice: Same herebye

Tina and Bette walked back to the office to grab their things.

Tina: (She noticed all the flowers that she sent from the past month) Wow, I didnt even notice all the flowers! Who sent you these? (Already knowing)

Bette: (Playing along) Well I met this person about a month and a half ago and they found out I like tulips that person had to leave for a month on businessI was sad but that person sent me flowers or a gift everyday to cheer me up or I think they wanted to keep me from changing my mind about thembut anyway I wasnt home most of the time so I kept the flowers here to remind me how much that other person cares

Tina: Wow! That person sounds like a keeper (Walking over to Bette)

Bette: Yeahshe is. (Looking at Tina)

Tina brushed away the hair from Bettes face and kissed her lightly.

Tina: I missed you too(Kissed her again)

Bette: So where do we go from here?

Tina: Do you want to go to my place or yours?… (Seeing the terrified look on Bettes face)… Whoa, I already know what your thinking and I know you are not ready for thatI just wanted to hold you in my arms tonightis that ok?

Bette: That is more than ok (Grabbing Tinas hands) thank you for being so understanding T.

Tina: I love it when you call me that

Bette: Yeah? well I love it when you call me baby Are you ready to go?

Tina: Anytime you are baby.

They both left in Tinas car and went back to Bettes house. Tina borrowed some pjs from Bette and they both changed. They lied down on the bed and Tina wrapped her arms around Bette just like she wanted and Bette just rested herself in her arms feeling content, safe, and most of all loved.
