Tina opened her eyes. She was feeling funny. Caressing her belly she sighed. Images of what just happened moving in front of her. The look on Bettes eyes, her hands moving, caressing every inch of her body, the sweet taste of her loving lips. Smiling, caressing her belly, Tina turned around.
Closing her eyes, she opened them again. Bette was not there. Gulping, suddenly feeling cold, Tina sat on the bed. Moving her hand to touch Bettes empty side, she found it cold, but she also found, resting on the pillow, the letter.

Taking it, holding her breath, Tina read it.

Seeing the sunrise, Bette hugged herself. The bright orange sun was coming up, letting the water cradle its reflection. Sighing, Bette sat down, loving the image. Getting lost in its beauty, trying not to think just to enjoy the moment, she closed her eyes for a moment only to open them again.

A wide smile started growing on her face as she realized that it was like a curse, a beautiful curse, that just by seeing that sunrise all Bette could think about was how much Tina would appreciate it. With the arms around her bent legs, Bette rested the head over her knees. Sighing again, she quietly prayed.

She wanted Tina, loved Tina, there was nothing she could add to what she said to her, there was nothing else she could do. Everything was in the note, in the letter, she repeated herself. For better or for worst she said it all. And as scary as it was, it was all true. She could no live one more day with knowing. Shed love to wait for Tina to decide, but she just couldnt. Everyday was a torture, and it no longer felt like a punishment. That was the problem, she didnt know what it felt like. Looking back to the months she has been apart from Tina, Bette realized that as much as she deserved the punishment, she also realized that as much as what she did was wrong, it was obvious to anyone, to Tina too, how much she regret it.

Looking down at her feet, caressing the early morning cold sand, Bette realized that she didnt intent to end the love making night the way she did it. She didnt even know what she wanted, well, she did know, she just didnt know she knew before.

Seeing Tina furious, the look in her eyes, her trembling lips while talking was what cleared Bettes foggy mind. It was that moment, when Tina asked her what she wanted when everything became clear. It was as if the clouds in her head vanished, as if her numb senses started awakening. Suddenly, looking into Tinas eyes, finally touching her, Bette saw it all.
She could not wait, and for the first time since they broke up, she was sure of this, she should not wait. She was not the old Bette, not anymore. She was broken, burnt but like a Fenix, just by getting lost in the look in Tinas eyes, she was born again. She wanted to be this new person, she wanted to show Tina this new person, she wanted to grow as this person with Tina.

And now, it was all up to Tina. There was nothing else she could do, promise or say. Sighing, hiding the head over her knees she closed her eyes. The breeze whispering sweet words, prayed promises, cradling the heated memories. Hugging her legs Bette felt Tinas touch all over again. The way she caressed her, the way she kissed every inch of her body, they way she made her shiver with emotion with every smile, every kiss she gave her. Closing her eyes, biting her lips, trying to stop the tears, Bette quietly prayed again.

Feeling hot fat tears running down her face, Tina sighed. Closing the eyes briefly she left the letter on her lap. Caressing her belly again she opened them again. She could feel Bette all over her, again. She could feel Bettetouch, her soft tender hands caressing every pore of her skin, her sweet lips kissing her belly, her collarbone, biting her ear, finding her mouth.

Quietly sobbing, Tina could hear Bettes quiet hidden whispers, the sweet words escaping her lips. Knowing Bette and she did, Tina knew, was sure how unaware Bette was of the things she mumbled, or the words she whispered. Knowing Bette as she did, Tina knew, saw it in her eyes, in the way she looked at her, how lost Bette felt by what Tina was doing to her. Kissing Bette, making love to her, Tina felt the urge, the need to do things to her that she never did before, she needed to get into her as never before, she needed to complete her, to fulfill her. Lightly shaking her head, killing the sobs, Tina noticed her dry lips. Smiling, she caressed them, licked them, feeling, tasting, Bettes memory in them.

Removing the tears from her face she jumped out of the bed. Walking to he bathroom she sighed, holding her belly. Opening the door, looking down, she mumbled,

“Oh God!” The words barely a whisper.

Opening the front door, Bette closed her eyes, praying. Walking towards the bedroom she played with the car keys, trying to find comfort, support, trying to calm her shaking hand.
Slowly, very slowly she stopped at the bedroom door, scared to look inside. Closing her eyes she sighed before entering the room. Then, opening the eyes she found the messed empty bed.

Shaking, moved by an unknown major force, Bette felt dizzy. Sitting on the bed she closed her eyes again, trying to compose herself. Sobbing, unable to stop she finally let herself lied on the bed. Grabbing the sheets, hugging them, tightening them, she cried. She quietly cried till there were no tears, she cried till her voice died. She wanted to scream, to yell, to move but she felt as if nothing was inside of her, she was quietly dying, vanishing behind the bittersweet memories.

She cried for the past and for the future, for the moving present. She cried for herself because crying for Tina was not an option. Not yet. Opening the eyes she decided to calm herself. Maybe it was the best for Tina, for the baby. She told herself not believing a
word she was thinking. Nodding, trying to convince herself, to comfort herself she looked down noticing the blood on the bed. Looking at her lap she saw it. It was her hand, so tight, with such force has she been tightening the keys that she cut herself. Nodding, calming her sobs she stood up. Walking towards the bathroom she found comfort in the pain she was feeling, in the blood. Somehow it was making her, even for a second, forget about the pain of losing Tina.

But then, pushing the ajar door she saw it. Seated on the toilet was a very pale, shaking Tina.

“Tee?…what are you doing here?” Bette mumbled, unable to move, trying to focus as seen Tina was becoming a blur.

“I.. was waiting for you” Tina said, looking at Bette, trying to understand the look on her face.

“What…what are you doing here?” Bette said again, moving closer, afraid to break the spell, scared.

“I…I…” Tina mumbled standing up. Then looking down again, she added,

    “My water just broke…”

Looking down, and then up to Tina, Bette mumbled,

“Whaaaat?” Bette felt as if the little life she had, the little strength she had was walking away. She didnt understand. Looking at Tina, seeing her beautiful pale face, Bette felt a thunder running through her body. Shaking her head, as if coming to life, Bette looked down, realizing what Tina just said.

Moving closer, guided by an unknown force, she took Tinas hand.

“Ouch!” She mumbled, forgetting about her wounded hand.

Looking at Bettes hand, Tina asked,

    “What happened to you?”

Shaking her head, forgetting about the hand, Bette looked down again, Then, looking back at Tina she said,

“I…I…I cut myself…is ok…Oh god!…god!we have to go to the hospital!!….are you ok?…” Bettes voice was getting more agitated with each word she was pronouncing. The look in her eyes was becoming scarier and her hands, even the wounded one, were trembling like an ice cream on tiny cone.

“Am ok Bette..am ok…I already called Dr Wilson..I…”

“Ok ,ok…we have to go…” Bette said trying to process what Tina was saying.

“No…wait…” Tina said holding Bettes hand.

“Why?…you sure you ok?” Asked Bette turning to look at her.

“I have to tell you something…”Tina seriously whispered, moving closer.

Nodding, speechless, feeling her lungs closing, Bette tried to gulp. Noticing the ghostly look on Bettes face, Tina caressed it.

“I heard you that morning…”Seeing the confused look covering Bettes features she added “….the morning after the party…I heard you…”

Nodding unable to say anything, Bette looked down to the floor. Placing a finger under Bettes chin, Tina forced her to lock her eyes with her.

“I…I…I love you too Bette…I do…and is not because of yesterday…or your beautiful letter…is…”

Seeing quiet small tears running down Bettes cheeks, Tina added, tenderly cleaning Bettes face,

“I love you because….because Ive never stopped loving you…I…”

Unaware of moving, slowly, very tenderly Bette rested her lips on Tinas. Closing her eyes, she let the contact, feeling Tinas proximity, calm her wounded shattered heart.

Feeling a contraction, Tina smirked, not only breaking the moment but scaring the ***** out of Bette.

“Ouch” Tina mumbled holding her belly, bending forward.

“Oh god!!we have to go to the hospital!” Bette screamed, painting with her worried words a smile on Tinas face.

“Yeah.. I think we should”. Tina nodded, taking Bettes hand.

Uhhh” Bette whispered just as Tina was taking her wounded hand.

“Oh god Bette, you are bleeding!…you are bleeding a lot!”

“I know..” Bette whispered, suddenly realizing the state of her hand.

“You cant drive!” Tina whispered, moving Bette to the sink to clean the wound.

“Of course I can!…come on” Bette ordered moving the hand from under the cold water. Taking a small towel, she added,

    “Come on…”

Walking towards the door, Bette suddenly noticed Tinas outfit,

“You going like that?” She sweetly asked pointing her old wasted camisole.

    Looking down, Tina shrugged.

    “Yeah…” she mumbled.

“Wait!” Bette said, moving towards the closet. Taking one of her coats, she added, Take this?

“Bette! Its your Prada coat!…you love it!” Tina said taking the coat Bette was handing her.

“Not as much as I love you…” Bette nodded whispering to herself while holding the door for Tina.

Trying to open the door of her car, Bette realized she could not drive. Tina, holding her belly, took the cell from her purse.

“Who you calling?…Shane is not home…” Bette said looking at Shanes.

“I know…” Nodded Tina waiting for the call to be answered.
