Thief of my heart – chapter 2
Chapter 2
9.30 am – Tina and Shane’s Apartment Los Angeles
Tina slept peacfully until she was woke up by the deep but gentle voice of Shane.
‘Hey Tina. You have to get up’
‘Just one more minute’
‘You said that 10 minutes ago…come on…we have to be at work in 30 minutes or Julie will kick our asses…again!’
‘That bitch can go to hell’
Shane chuckled. Tina was not a morning person but since they were late for work all the time because of Tinas wake up problems, their boss Julie was making trouble.
They worked together for almost 3 years. Shane worked for the bike courier-service for nearly 8 years without making many close friends. She got on well with everyone but was a mystery for most of them. Then one day this blonde girl came in and asked her where she could find the boss because she was looking for a job. To make a long story short…Shane was the one to show Tina everything and after a week of working together and talking they found so many similarities that they became friends. It took Shane almost a month to find out, that Tina didn’t have a home so she offered her to move in with her. That way they would both save money and had company.
Now, 3 years later they lived and worked together. They were best friends, talked about everything and had no secrets from each other. Except of one thing…Tinas nightly activitys. During the day Tina got access to every building in the city because of her job. That gave her the freedom to locate places where she was able to break in at night. Not every night but when she found a house or arpartment worth the risk she did it.
Through hard training every day she was in shape to run, climb and jump like an athlete. When Shane wasn’t at home she tried different possibillities to open doors and windows without noise and leaving traces, maneuver silently through rooms and to short-out alarm systems.
She knew if Shane would find out about it, she would be disappointed. Shane always thought that Tina was very sensible, naive and fragile. That revelation would question their whole friendship because Shane saw Tina other than she really was.

This is getting really good. A very good and rich Bette and a not so sweet and good Tina. Thanks
This is going to be so good…..all the possibilities running through my head. Thanks and pps
OF course TBC :) It’s great and interesting. See you tomorrow!
Just finished both chapters and I like it a lot. But Tina as a cat-burglar? Bette as a very wealthy art patron and now she meets Tina. Oh my, what a meting that will be. Hope Tina will not be trying to rob her penthouse. Fireworks galore. By the time I saw and read the first chapter you had already posted this one. Very interesting. PPS
Thanks for the post. I am glad to see my favorite L-Word person (Tina) as entered the story. Great chapter! Can’t wait for the next one.
Great chapter, very nice start I c a bit Dark Angel in da story n if so it will b a great story:))PPS
I love your stories and you English is better than mine and I supposedly speak English. The job that Shane, Jenny, Dana and Tina have reminds of the TV show Dark Angel. I am intriqued as to how Bette and Tina will meet.
So oue favorite lady is [maybe]a thief. She could be a undercover police, work for insurance company,or just a girl who is looking for the person of her dreams. Bette is rich and Tina is a plain old working girl. Love this story. and our Shane. thanks
who wouldn’t love rich Bette (very giving very passionate) and now you have add a not so innocent Tina
