Tina and Sam were still waiting….

Tina : “Oh man we’ve been waiting here over an hour”
Just then a nurse came around the cornor…

Nurse : “Samantha Kennard please” she called out…Sam stood up…

Tina : “I’ll wait here”

Sam : “Ok” Sam what off with the nurse to have her X-Ray…….

Half hour later….Sam came back and sat down next to Tina…

Tina : “Well?”

Sam : “Ummm…well what?”

Tina : “How was it?”

Sam : “Mmmmm…it was like…owww…an X-Ray…owww…I’ve had one before”

Tina : “Know you haven’t”

Sam : “Yeah I have”

Tina : “When?”

Sam : “I’ve…owww…just had….mmmm….one before ok”

Tina : “Ok”…….

They waited there for anothor 3 hours to find out if it was broken or not….finally a doctor came and called them into a room……

Doctor : “Ok then…(he started)….sorry about the wait”

Tina : “That’s ok”

Doctor : “Well I the X-Ray showed us that Sam’s jaw isn’t broken”

Tina : “That’s good”

Doctor : “But”

Sam : “UmmmBut”

Tina : “There’s but”

Doctor : “Yes ummm but it does have a hairline fracture….it’s not every big it’s as fin as bit of hair….it’s about half the size of your finger”

Tina : “And you don’t think that’s?”

Doctor : “I’ve seen much bigger on a jaw”

Sam : “Ummm…but I can still…owww…talk”

Doctor : “Yeah I know most people how have a fracture on there jaw can talk….just not very well”

Tina : “Ok so what can we do?”

Doctor : “Nothing”

Sam : “Ummmm”

Tina : “Nothing”

Doctor : “Well there isn’t really anything we can do except give you really strong pain killers”

Tina : “Is that it?”

Doctor : “Well you see with a fractured anything there isn’t anything we can do…we have to let it heel up on it’s own….all we can do is try and ease the pain”

Sam : “Ohhhh…Great”

Tina : “So what now?”

Doctor : “Right did Dr.Miller give you anything for the pain”

Tina : “Yeah she gave us this preseription” she handed it to him….

Doctor : “Right ok…the ones to stop any infection getting into that cut you will need but I think your going to need stronger pain killers…(he started writing out anothor preseription)…ok these are the strongest pain killers we can give you without you being in hospital…(handed the preseription)…ok take two pills,two times a day once in the morning and once again at night….ok”

Sam : “Ok”

Tina : “Ummm…how long will it take to heel?”

Doctor : “Ummm…about 3 to 4 weeks could be longer it’s all down to the person….but if you it to heel as quick as it can…then try and only talk when you have to and when you go to bed don’t lay on your right side…ok”

Sam : “Mmmmm”

Doctor : “Ok then”

Tina : “Thank you” Sam nodded and did a small smile…

Doctor : “That’s ok” Tina and Sam left the doctors office….

Tina : “You ok”

Sam : “Ummmm”

Tina : “Ok let’s go get this medication then get back to the ship it’s been a hard day”

Sam : “Ummmm”

Meanwhile….

BACK AT THE ROOM….

Jenny was watching Tv with Amanda and Shane was telling Kit all about Alice and Bette at the table……


Kit : “My god…and Melvin says I’m the drunk of the family” she smiled

Shane : “Yeah I know…But I gotto give it to Al she can be well funny when she’s drunk I mean some of the things she said”

Kit : “Like”

Shane : “Well Bette got into some fight with Helena Peabody….and anyway Helena up slapping Bette”

Kit : “What?”

Shane : “Yeah I know…anyway Alice steps in and says you hit my friend again and I’ll get the family round”

Kit : “The family…who’s the family”

Shane : “We are me, you,Alice everyone….oh everyone except toxic Tonya….”

Kit : “Shane”

Shane : “I mean don’t you just think it’s so funny toxic Tonya….(she laughed…then looked at Kit who was wearing a face that said ‘she behind you)….she’s behind me isn’t she?”

Kit : “Ummm”

Shane turned around she got slapped arocss the face by Tonya…

Tonya : “*****” she ran off to her and Dana’s room….

Shane : “Owww..***** Tonya I’m sorry…(Jenny, Kit and Amanda were looking at her)….*****”


EARLY THE NEXT MORNING

Tina and Sam had come back hours ago and gone to bed when the others did…..

In Bette’s bedroom…Alice and Bette were starting to stir…..

Bette : “Ahhhhh…***** my head” she rolled over on top of Alice….

Alice : “Ummmm…get off”

Bette : “Shut up Alice” she opened her eyes and saw she was on top of Alice…and Alice saw that Bette was on top of her…

Alice : “Bette” she said looking shocked…

Bette : “Alice” she looked just as shocked………………………
