Carmen: “excuse me, I’m new here, but I’m concerned for my friend, Jenny, may we take her there?”

Louise: “yes, we may…, if there is no inconvenience.”

Alice: “where should we go?”

Helena: “California, I already told you”

Alice: “California is big”

Louise: “San Diego and the sooner we start the preparations the better.”

Peggy: “I agree…, by the way, I have a property in San Diego…, you all may stay there”

Louise: “yeah, that’ll be excellent, though at some point we may have to be a few days with the covenant…, and we can…”

Bette didn’t let Louise finish her thoughts.

Bette: “okay when should we be there?”

Louise: “the main ceremony starts on Halloween, a whole day of the retreat, and the rites will be at night…, but we have to be there at least six days before…, because…”

Again, Tina didn’t let Louise finish what she had to tell.

Tina: “well, today is October 23rd we should leave right now”

Peggy: “okay, there is nothing else to talk about; the plane is ready any time you want to use it”

Bette: “okay, we pack today and will be traveling tomorrow”

As everybody walked to their bedrooms, Louise was left alone and with nobody to talk about the details.

All the girls packed their belongings and the next day early in the morning, after breakfast they were at the airport boarding one of Peggy Peabody’s airplanes. Peggy has decided at the last moment to be part of the traveling group.

In the plane:

Alice: (whispering to Helena) “I didn’t wanna come to San Diego”

Helena: (rolling her eyes) “because your mom is here?”

Alice: (sighing) “well, that’s one reason, she is always telling stories about me when I was a child…, and she and Shane…”

Helena: “nothing happened”

Alice: “I don’t blame Shane, but mom was smoking pot with her and her hands were all over Shane.”

Helena: “Shane enjoyed.”

Alice: “she could be her mother.”

Helena: “but she isn’t.”

Alice: “and then she met Peggy.”

Helena: “mom is an old woman; she knows what she’s doing.”

Alice: “why your mom is coming with us?”

Helena: “she’s concerned for all of us…, why?”

Alice: “it’s no fun, Helena, mom is there too.”

Helena: “mom is cool with everything, why not you.”
