The two friends sat talking for the rest of their time at The Planet, before getting up, saying bye to Kit and making their way to the hospital. Little did they know, Aidan was

    Shane: Yeah, same. I’m sure it’s nothing.

    The two friends sat talking for the rest of their time at The Planet, before getting up, saying bye to Kit and making their way to the hospital. Little did they know, Aidan was watching their every move. He knew he couldn’t go into the hospital, but he followed them there anyway, just to confirm that’s where they were going. As they pulled into the hospital car park, Aidan carried on, heading straight home. Shane had found an empty space and they got out of the car. They had decided to come in Shane’s car as they always used Danas, and it was low on fuel. They made their way to reception and asked to see Alice. Dr. Edwards guided them to Alice’s room, but stopped them just outside the door.

    Dr. Edwards: It does seem like Alice had regained some feeling in her legs, although all she can feel right now is pain. She has been given medication to reduce the pain but it is still there as we can’t take the pots off just yet. They should be off within the next week.

    Dana: But she’s okay?

    Dr. Edwards: She’s fine. She’s a little tired from the medication, but she’s awake. Do you want to see her?

    Dana: Yeah, we do.

    Dr. Edwards: Oh, and Dana?

    Dana: Yeah?

    Dr. Edwards: She’s been asking for you all morning.

    Dana couldn’t stop the smile on her face. She had been worrying about Alice all night. Shane noticed the smile on Danas face and she playfully messed Dana’s hair up. Dana turned to Shane and playfully punched her in the arm, as the two walked into Alice’s room. Alice picked up on the playfulness of Shane and Dana and became curious.

    Alice: Hey.

    Shane: Hey, Al. how are you feeling?

    Alice: Like crap. I’m tired, in pain and once again stuck in this place.

    Dana: Well, we’re here now.

    Alice: Oh really? I hadn’t noticed.

    They all chuckled at Alice before Alice spoke again.

    Alice: So, what’s funny?

    Shane: What are you talking about, Al?

    Alice: When you walked into my room, you were laughing?
