    Author Notes: I saw the note from Izzie about where have all the writers gone from this site. Very good question. ??? So, I dug threw my files & discovered I had never posted this. Its a short, little essay I wrote a few years back that got buried in my files. Its how I imagined them, how we should have seen them. Hope you enjoy.
    Summary:
    The Look of Love

    Impressions from Tina

     

    My eyes roam the room

    Seeking her out

    Looking for that exquisite face that I love

    The face that can buckle by knees in an instant with just a glance from her

    The face that I love to touch

    The sharp angles, striking and smoothly handsome

    The proud chin that challenges the world

    Yet, the softness of her skin, is like pure velvet

    Then, the lips that I love to kiss, to caress

    Even after all these years, it’s the touch I want at my fingertips every morning, every night, and every time

    The touchstone for my life

    Her smile that lights my life

    Its power reaching deep inside me

    Stirring emotions, driving desire, creating want

    Captivating me time and time again

    Enchanting and magical

    She casts a spell on me that I cannot resist

    Nor would I ever want to

    Oh, and how she flirts with me

    Teasing me endlessly

    The corner of her mouth quirking

    Beckoning me to her

    Its sweetness, so innocent and light one moment

    And then, the seductress emerges

    Leaving me breathless and on fire for her

    Its beaming brightness casting away any shadows, any doubts

    That smile glows like the golden sun, beautiful and heavenly

    I feel her warmth wash over me

    Cover me with serenity

    Cloaking me in a comforting blanket of security and love

    It’s infectious brilliance drawing me in

    And I am lost

    Lost in her

    And those eyes

    Those orbs of wonder

    They can see to the depth of me

    To my core

    To my very soul

    How they morph with color one moment to the next

    Dark, richly chocolate and then instantly smoky black

    Changing with her mood, her each emotion, her desire

    How they darken with yearning in the depths of passion

    Smoldered with want and need

    Grow heavy lidded with craving and wild abandonment

    How my own eyes follow her in a room

    Her every movement

    Connecting with her across the expanse of space

    Always seeking her out

    Humor flicking in those hypnotic eyes

    How they play with me

    And those brows

    Expressive and imaginative

    Cocky and beguiling

    Like brushstrokes of the finest portrait

    Even and smooth

    I love how she surprises me

    Soothes me

    Excites me

    Wants me

    Craves me

    Oh, how I love her

    My everything

    My love

    My wife

    My home . . .
