When Tina Kennard was in the womb her mother used to read her books about mathematics, chemistry, biology, and literature. Her father used to read her books about Quantum Physics and medicine.

Even after she was born Tina had never even heard a fairy tale. The movies she watched were Nova documentaries on astronomical phenomenon, the natural world, cultures, religions, and science. Her parents read her a different textbook every night and they sheltered her from bad influences.

It wasn’t until she had turned 10 that Tina’s parents became fearful that she would turn into a sociopath that would use her superior intellect to murder thousands of people and never get caught. So they took her out of home schooling and sent her to public school.

The children didn’t take well to a ‘smarty pants know-it-all’ who waltzed into the classroom in the middle of the year already knowing all of the things they were just barely learning. Elementary school was a breeze for Tina and she could have just skipped it all and gone to Harvard with the amount of intelligence she had. She had an IQ of 300.

Her mother, however, knew the importance of a happy and full childhood. Tina was already shy, reserved and quiet. She didn’t have any friends, she was being bullied, and she kept in all those emotions hidden behind a wall of numbers and scientific data. Her mother was worried. She would not allow her ten year old daughter to go to a university full of adults with experiences Tina didn’t have. She wanted Tina to go through school even if it was so easy for her it was boring. Only when Tina had the experiences of middle school and high school would she be ready to go to any of University in the world.

Intelligence is not only about being booksmart, it’s about being street smart too. Tina’s parents knew that but Tina didn’t. For the longest time she hated her parents for forcing her to go to a school that was simply too easy for her. She blamed them for all the teasing she had to endure and all the bullying.

Tina was dumped in a trash can on a daily basis as well as robbed of her packed lunch or lunch money. Tina would come home ravenously hungry with her clothes smelly and tattered from the garbage cans, toilets, and lockers she was stuffed into.
