Jonathan: (wondering what is up with Bette)”You’re welcome.”
Bette: (heading to her office) “I’ll take care of things here if you want to go
ahead and go.”
Once again, Jonathan made his way to the Alphaville studios to drop off the
package. When he walked in to Tina’s office, there was no one sitting in the
outer office. He walked to the door that had ‘Tina Kennard’ on it and knocked.
Tina: “Come in.”
Jonathan: (opening the door and walking in towards Tina’s desk) “I have a
package for you from”
Tina: (looking up at Jonathan and softly finishing his sentence) “Bette
Porter.”
Jonathan: (smiling and introducing himself) “I’m Jonathan and I work for
Bette.”
Tina: “I’m glad to meet you Jonathan. I’m Tina”
Jonathan: (turning to head out the door) “Nice meeting you Tina. If you will
excuse me, I have to get back to work before my boss sends out a search party
for me.”
Tina: “Jonathan is your boss a task master?”
Jonathan: “Bette can be tough but she is fairand to be honest I love working
for her, but don’t tell her that okay.”
Tina: (smiling at hearing Jonathan’s response) “I won’t.”
After Jonathan left, Tina opened the package to find chocolate. There was a
large Hershey’s kiss in the center and a package of the small Hershey kisses in
various colors were surrounding the large kiss. Tina couldn’t help but smile as
she reached for the note inside the box.
Tina,
I had a grand gesture set up for today but after receiving your note, I
rethought my plan and decided that I wanted to just send you these kisses. I
have to be honest and say that I wish it were me there kissing you but the
chocolate will have to do. They say that the way to a man’s heart is through
his stomach. Well since we are both women, I was hoping the way to a woman’s
heart was through chocolate. So please accept all of these kisses from me and
please forgive me if I have been pushing you too hard. I promised you I would
be patient and I will be.
Bette
Tina sat there for a moment looking at the kisses before she got up from her
desk. She checked her watch trying to gauge her time before she grabbed her
purse and picked up the box of chocolate and walked out of her office. As she
passed Cindy’s desk, she told her that she was leaving a little early for her
meeting and she would be back after the meeting was over. She got in her car
and drove to Bette’s gallery. As she got out of the car, she grabbed the box of
chocolates and headed into the gallery where she found Bette standing right by
Jonathan’s desk.
Bette: (seeing Tina approach her she began to smile) “Hi, Tina.”
Tina: (not really showing much emotion) “Can I see you for a moment in your
office?”
Bette: (trying to figure out if Tina was upset as she walked to her office)
“Sure.”
Tina: (waiting until Bette closed the door, she held the gift out to Bette
before she spoke) “BetteI don’t think I can accept these…”

swear to god, if you leave us haning there for the weekend, it will drive me to drink way more than i should. ahahaha. please, now im really begging. on my knees, hands in supplication. and all the honeys you can take. ;). and anything else you want.

oh please let Tina want the real kisses..i take the chocolates..lol..but only cuz i cant have Bette..i hope Tina follow her heart and make a right decision they both deserve that..another great chapter post soon please cant wait
Thanks for posting, Soul! I need my daily H&S fix!! Hehe I love how honest they are with their feelings. It’s soo much easier reading a story for the second time! You know when the cliffhangers are coming and what their outcomes are already Hehe

You know, I especially enjoyed all these so cute comings and goings between the Bette Porter Gallery and the Alphaville studios ! Well, at first I thought that something could finally happened between the so busy messengers Jonathan and Cindy, but it seems that the so obviously disturbed Cindy could prefer the sooo “able to turn any straight woman’s head” gallery’s owner, hmm ? (*amused wink !*)
Our two lovebirds are so lovely here, with their respective fears… Especially our dear Bette, always so deeply irresistible when she’s feeling insecure ! Each time I’m melting – and I wonder how Tina can resist to run into the gallery… What a bravery !
