    A B/T romantic comedy

            

    After having been thrown into the pool, Bette and Tina had gone their separate ways. Bette had gone to their room to change while Tina had decided to quickly use the pool showers to get rid of the chloride. Then she had put on the bikini, the denim skirt and green tank top she had taken to the pool. She would probably spend the afternoon sunbathing anyway, so why bother with dressing up for lunch? It was all in the interest of saving time they had both said without facing each other. Besides they were already late as it was.

     

    Not long afterwards they met again at the door to the dining room. They shared a nervous smile for a second only to turn away from each other in the next moment.

    There was a new tension crackling in the air between them. Or maybe it had always been there but they had both pretended not to see it as seeing it would make it real.

     

    Bette swallowed trying to bring some moisture to her dry mouth. She stole a glance at the blonde by her side and saw that she was apparently pretty engrossed in the lunch menu that was, as usual, posted at the wall.

    Tina couldn’t focus, she had been staring at the menu for the past minute but she still had no idea what would constitute lunch. She was all too aware of Bette’s presence next to her but she didn’t want to look at the brunette afraid of what she would find if she did.

     

    Bette cleared her throat and Tina faced her. She saw the hesitation in the hazel eyes regarding hers. She sighed.

    “I think we should probably talk.” The brunette said slowly but unfalteringly.

    Tina looked down at the floor feeling a heavy weight settle down on her stomach. She breathed in deeply once and then straightening her posture she lifted her eyes to meet the unsure dark ones in front of her.

    “Ok. Do you want to go somewhere?” She pointed back with her hand.

    An expression of what might have been panic crossed Bette face but it was gone in a second, too fast for the blonde to be sure.

Jodi needs to leave Bette the hell alone and pay attention to her soon to be wife before she loses both her ex and her future ex at the same time. She is always such a B***h she makes people fall in love with her and them precedes to walk all over them and treat them like s**t. Jodi deserves everything she gets. PPS

She can’t stand hearing about Tina’s ex-girlfriends.. so maybe she should think of that next time Jodi throws herself at her. That, or the pained look on Janet’s face at her own wedding. Hope she leaves Jodi. Ohh, can’t wait for this “talk.” Are they going to admit to the obvious attraction?

I just love the romantic comedy genre. Sliding characters we know and love into this type of story, combined with giving us a new twist on a Bette and Tina beginning. It is just plain fun. I just wish I could offer up enough help so that you could post every single day.
