    Author Notes:

    It’s the morning after Hell broke loose at Jenny’s; Angelica’s brought back home; Lara consoles Carmen; Dax and Uta talk about their relationship; Shane gets a visitor at the Wax

    Tonya: Mmmm….trying to break my concentration?

    Helena: Think of it as painting under pressure.

    Helena kisses the right side of Tonya’s neck, whick tickles at Tonya’s senses.  Tonya sets her brushes aside and enjoys the moment with Helena instead.

    The day progresses with Alice, Helena and Tonya all together as they walk towards Alice’s apartment.

    Helena: Lara has the day off, correct?

    Alice: Yeah, I think so.

    Tonya: Hope they’re okay.  That bruise on Carmen’s face didn’t look too good.  I feel bad for her.

    Alice: Well, let’s try no to talk about the blackeye too much, okay?  She just needs to know that her friends’ll be there for her.

    Alice opens the door to her apartment and she, Helena and Tonya hear music and laughter.  Lara sees her girlfriend answer and she immediately dances towards her.

    Alice: What’s goin’ on?

    Lara: Just a party to make ourselves feel better….and you’re just in time.

    Lara pulls Alice closer to her as Carmen loses herself in a solo dance.  Helena and Tonya are amused. Carmen makes her way to Alice and Lara, placing her left arm around Alice and leaning her head against her shoulder for a moment before seeing Helena and Tonya, who each give her a supportive hug.  Good times and laughter are shared for a while between the five friends, as they try to escape the harsh reality of the night before.

    The harsh reality stays with Shane at all times.  Shane sits alone against the half pipe at the Wax.  She’s already canceled all of her appointments for the day and just wants to get away from it all.  She ignores her growling stomach which longs for food, something she hasn’t bothered with today.  She keeps replaying the moment in her mind.  No matter how many times she tries to stop, she winds up hitting Carmen everytime and it rips into her conscience deeper with each mental replay.  She doesn’t deserve to make any money today as far as she’s concerned.  She doesn’t deserve anything today except punishment as far as she’s concerned.  She sits there alone before being greeted by a familiar face.

    Lacey: Just hangin’ out today?

    Shane looks up at Lacey.

    Shane: Somethin’ like that…

    Lacey: Mind if I join you?

    3. I feels sad for Shane. But she sould feel guilty after what she did to Carmen.It´s great how Lara and Jenny are taking care about Carmen and Shane. I like that a lot.
