    Alice and Bette would meet once in a while, mostly just ate a meal and made some small chat, giving an update of their current life, exchanging information about their work. As time goes by, sometimes they didn’t make any communication at all while eating, who would have thought that Alice would be so quiet?

    As time goes by, sometimes they didn’t make any communication at all while eating, who would have thought that Alice would be so quiet? They would go to The Planet, a small coffee shop where her sister Kit Porter opened, Alice insisted that Bette need to go out at least once a month, caught up with her sister. But Bette didn’t like the place, it carried too many memories, most importantly, this was where Tina used to work.

    Tina Kennard…Bette never saw her after that day she ran out of the cafeteria, she didn’t come to class the next day or the day after.

    Bette had driven to her house, but it’s already empty, the only things left was the messy furniture, broken glass and pile of Tina’s destroyed works, seems like the chief of the police seriously wanted to turn over this house for some criminal evidence, Bette could see that he tried very hard to damage everything and find something that can bring him the promotion, but when he found nothing, he just destroy anything in Tina’s place for releasing anger.

    But Bette didn’t give up, she went immediately to the hospital and asked for Tina’s aunt, seemed that Adele had already handled everything, the nurse wouldn’t give a tiny detail about what happened to the patient.

    “You must be a relative.” That all she said.

    No matter how hard she tried, nothing she could find.

    Bette regrets so much that she should have followed Tina while she ran out of the room, at least she would know where she’s been.

    Tina Kennard just vanished nowhere, like a cloud of smoke, her identity in school suddenly disappeared, no one talked about her anymore. Some teachers said that she had transferred to the other school, others referred that she moved to another town, all the student pretend that this girl never existed, her desk had been taken away, her locker was being washed and new student occupied the space, the floor once glued with books were also being taken, everything back to the way Tina Kennard appeared months ago, as if this girl only showed up temporary.

      It’s seems that Tina didn’t recognize Bette, but why?

      And second, if Tina in charge and she responsible for the killing, kindnaping, drugs and etc – i don’t know, but she don’t deserve for happy finale. She made her choise – and needs to pay for it, and her childhood can’t be excuse for crimanal life now

      Excellent chapter, so, Tina is still very wounded about what happened in high school, I guess those events mark deeply people’s life, it shows in her cold and bitter behavior.

      I think she probably recognized Bette, but she has powerful reasons for faking she doesn’t know her. Thanks for the chapter, I’ll be waiting for the next one.

      • Wondering if Tina actually remember Bette and pretend that she doesn’t know her..or in 5 years something happened and Tina forgot her past including Bette?
        And I think Cooper boss is Dean (Tina’s missing father) .. just curious how he could find Tina again? And how was Tina’s aunt? Five years ago, She had heart attack…did she survive from it or she passed away?

        Hope I could get the answer soon..☺️

      Just what i thought, that Tina is Justine Cooper, but i really hoped that she wouldn’t end up as a cool blooded criminal.

      I believe she recognised Bette, but has her reasons not to show it in the room, looking forward to their meeting in Bette’s room.

      I saw you have all my least favourite characters from the L Word as bad guys and girls.

      Can not wait for the next chapter!!!

    7. At first I was skeptical about this story with the high school stuff but now I can’t wait for next chapter. How did Tina not recognize Bette? Five years is not that long.
