    I look at the TV and back at them.

    Okay – you are going to met her when she comes to get me in an hour or so. The reason it is going to be tough for both of you is that I need you to keep this a secret for now — until we are ready to go public with our relationship — which at the moment we arent — not for a few weeks anyway.

     

    The clouds seems to be slowly clearing for my mother — time to spell it out once and for all. Deal with whatever happens but get it out in the open.

     

    The woman I am in love with – and who loves me is Bette Porter — you are going to have the President as your daughter in law

    Its probably not the best timing that at that moment Bette is on TV chatting to a bunch of Marines who have been going through some display of their prowess.

    22. I’m glad Tina had that second talk with her mother in the kitchen. I was wondering how she was capable of running a business with her head completely up her ass. That’s got to be a severe handicap. Why did she assume that Bette was from the Kennedy school of womanizing simply because of her title?
