    Author Notes:

    Bette tells Tina the news. Kit begins to worry about Bette and wonders what Helena’s attention is to Sonja. Shane is confused. Alice and Helena talk. Bette meets with Devon. Alice and Dana have a morning quickie. Tina freaks out.

     

    “I think I heard the worst news in my life.”

     

    “Did you get fired?” Tina began to panic.

     

    Bette shook her head. “No—this girl showed up at the Planet claiming that Melvin was her father.” She walked away from Tina and sat down on the couch. “She had these papers and the birth certificate.” She rubbed her forehead. “Why would my father lie to me? He told me that Kit and I were his only two children, but this twenty-one year old appeared out of nowhere saying that Kit and I are her sisters. I don’t believe one damn thing.” Tina walked over to Bette and sat next to her.

     

    “Babe—you need to relax. It’s not the end of the world. Maybe she is telling the truth; maybe you have a long-lost sister or something. It’s not that a big of a deal.” Tina cracked a smile, and Bette looked at her.

     

    “Tina, this isn’t a laughing matter. This is serious okay.” Bette sighed and buried her head in her hands. “I can’t believe dad would hide this from us.” Tina rubbed Bette’s back and laid her head on her.

     

    “Everything’s going to be okay. I promise you.” Bette moved away from Tina.

     

    “I really don’t need you trying to comfort me. I just want to be alone okay. It’s not going to make things any better.”

     

    “All I’m trying to do is to understand what’s going on right now. I want to know what’s going on Bette. I’m your girlfriend right? Well treat me like I am and not a child.” Tina sighed and got up from the couch. “I’m going to bed, you can sleep on the couch tonight.” She walked towards the bedroom, and Bette lay back on the couch. She shook her head and groaned.

    “How many times did you call Bette?” Kit looked at Alice.

     

    Kit sighed. “I called her five times, and she’s not picking up her phone.” She sat the phone down on the table.

     

    “Bette’s going to be okay about all of this. She just needs to clear her head.” Dana nodded.

     

    “I don’t know—she looked a little pissed when she walked out of the here earlier.” Carmen sat back in her chair.

    5. Hello ACB, Wicked chapter! Shame that Bette and Tina have slipped back into bad old habits. They need to sit down and talk things through rather than hurling wild accustations at one another. Bette is going throught the wringer with a new sister and I think that Tina needs to give her some time and space to come to terms with this revelation. Sometimes doing nothing but listening is the best option. AS for Helena – wild child – is in the house and ready to play. Kit was a scream at warding Hellcat away from her littl’ sis but I do think that Sonja’s Porter genes will have somethin’ to say about it. ALice and Dana were hot and heavy and a delight to follow. Shane was wack for going with Cherie again but musta got some sense it stopping things when she did. More please of this awesome and amazing adventure. Your Loyal Fan.

    7. B&T are becoming a fucking mess again. Tina was just trying to be there and comfort Bette and Bette pushed her away. Then Bette went and got drunk and was at someone else’s place all night. Now, since Bette isn’t answering her phone of course Tina will think something happened. I’m not sure jumping to the conclusion that Bette was screwing someone else was the best place to go though. Actually it was pretty bad. I wonder why Tina didn’t call the girls? Unless she wanted to keep the issue away from the group. I don’t know, but they freaking need to talk. Sonja and Helena could be hot but not if Helena gets hurt. I was really afraid Alice was gonna yell Helena’s name. LMFAO I’m glad Shane stopped too because Cherie is a skank ho. And Jenny…*bitchslap*
