    Bette blows a fuse. Abbie helps Bette to see things differently.

    Tina : “I want to believe you.”

    Bette : I don’t look up, I swiftly start to make my way out of the car, Tina starts to move out the way and stands up. We are standing face to face. “You want to believe me ? Is that like you do not believe me but you wish you could ?

    Tina : Silence.

    Bette : “Damn it Tina, answer me. Answer me.” I raise my voice.

    Tina : Silence.

    Bette : “I am ***** sick of this, do you hear me ? I fucked up, yes I know, the whole ***** world knows and I’ve paid for it and somehow I have to still keep paying for it.” I am yelling and waving my arms about. I see other people watching me as they walk by, we are in a parking lot. “Tell me Tina, what do you want from me ? Really, what do you want, come on, tell me, because I have given you everything you have asked for, when you asked me to get out of your life, I did, when you asked me to be friends, I agreed, when you asked me to trust you that it was an honest mistake about Laurel, I believed you. WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ?” I walk up to Tina and glare at her with my hands on my hips, waiting for an answer. “And now we are friends, you want to believe me ?” I say it incredulously. “And I am paying for something I have not done. You know what Tina, we are not friends, you know why, because friends, Tina, trust each other.” I turn around and get in the car, on the way I see a passer by staring at me. “What are you ***** staring at ?” I slam the door, start the engine.

    Tina : I make my way back inside and see the others skunk back to their seats. I sit and say nothing.

    Shane : “All right, I’m goin’ get moving.”

    Tina : “Shane, wait up. You think I’m giving Bette a hard time, don’t you ?”

    Shane : “I love you both Tina, and Bette fucked up but she’s paid for it too. It’s not just you who’s paid for it Tee, her pain is real too. If you love her sort it out, or let her go.”

    2. i hope Tina do and say the right thing to Bette..they already lose so much time apart is time to think str8 and make some right choices for them and for their baby..and they ahve to talk and try to find a way to be together..another amazing chappy please please psot soon thanks :o)

    5. I like Abbie. Bette’s a strong-willed woman and I often feel that her circle of friends are a little too green to really help her with her personal troubles when they arise…that and they can hardly be impartial being friends to them both.
      I hope to see more of Abbie, preferably just as a Bette and Tina friend only and not making her one of ‘the gang’. I think it would be healthier for BnT to have their own friends apart from their ‘family’.
