    Chapters 6-10 Repost

    “Really”  

    Bette laughed.

    “I wish……since when have you been so gullible”

    “Oh you think your funny, lets see how much your laughing when your on the Big Wheel”  

    “No Tina…..Please don’t make me”  Bette pleaded

    “Hey remember me”  Al tucked her hands in her jeans pocket still not sure if they where safe.

    “Al, this is Bette….Bette this is Al”  Tina watched as Bette eyed her friend before offering her hand

    “Hello…I’ve heard so much about you, it’s…it’s nice to finally meet you”  Bette’s tone wasn’t cold but it couldn’t be described as warm either.

    Al shook Bette’s outstretched hand.

    “Not as much as I’ve heard about you I bet”  Al takes her camera out of her purse.  “Let me take a picture of you two before you get on the Ferris Wheel, the pic Tina has is a bit goofy looking”

    She laughs at the terrified look that washes over Bette’s face.  “It’s only a camera Bette not a machine gun”  Al takes the picture.

    “It’s not the camera that’s worrying me it’s being up there”  

    “Tell me you’ve brought me chocolate and I won’t make you go on”  Tina offers and wraps her arms round Bette.

    “I’ve brought you chocolate”  Bette’s smile doesn’t get much chance to expand before Tina’s lips are on hers.
    “Ok you guys I can see how this is going…..Tina put her down just for a second”  Al waits for  Tina to come up for air after a few minutes she gives up.  “Fine I just hope you can still hear…I am going back to the room, give me half an hour to get showered and changed then I will disappear for the next 50 years” Al just catches Tina’s mumbled thanks as she walks away.

    When Bette and Tina return to the room they are pleased to discover that Al has left.  

    “Ok first things first where’s my chocolate”  

    Bette pulls out a huge bag of assorted chocolate bars from her case

    Tina tries to make a grab for them and Bette pulls them out of her reach

    “Ah…Ah….first I want you to tell me you’ve missed me more than you have English chocolate” Bette teases.

    “Bette I’ve never lied to you please don’t make me now”  Tina tries once again to grab the bag.

    4. Those little grifters have obviously taken the money and run. Never mind them, I have a better plan. Someone’s put a set of evil winged monkeys up on eBay… I’m top bidder and there’s not long to go. Just you wait, skimmer! Ha!
