“Are you little darlings enjoying you time here at Nana B&T’s”  Helena directs her question to the twins.  

“Yeah we have been looking at some really really old photographs” Alice pronounces the word really too heavily for Bette’s and Tina’s liking.

“That sounds like fun have you seen any of me yet” asks Helena

“No Tina burnt all the ones of you”  Al whispers to Tina, Tina takes a swipe at Al’s ankle but is stifling a laugh.

This doesn’t go unnoticed by Bette who throws the pair a dour look.

“When we finish clearing up we will go see if we can find any of Aunt Helena shall we”  Bette says as she rises and begins the task.  

“Let me help Bette”  Helena offers.

“Thanks Helena”  Bette responds appreciatively.

Tina, Al, Alice and Shane all take this as their cue to leave and make their way to the lounge.
“Let me help Bette”  Tina mimics Helena

“Thanks Helena”  Al mimics Bette

They both giggle

“Hey TK lets go through the album and remove all the pics of Helena before she gets back.  Alice says still giggling

“Oh your so bad……but yeah lets”  Tina picks up the album, sits on the sofa and puts it on her knees, Al, Shane and Alice join her.

She quickly flicks through the pics until she finds the first one which includes Helena, Al is ready to remove it when Tina stops her

“No wait I think she will be more upset at seeing this one” Tina states as the memories of that whole weekend flood her mind.

England 1986

“I’m not moving bloody anywhere and you can’t bloody well make me”  Tina screams as she slams her bedroom door.

She throws herself onto her bed and lands face down.

She doesn’t even attempt to stop the immediate torrent of tears that soak her pillow.  

“Go away”  she shouts at hearing the persistent knock on her bedroom door

“Tina I am coming in”  her dad says as he opens the door.  “Tina I’m sorry you had to overhear that we wanted to wait until after Gateshead before we told you”

Tina lifts up her head

It doesn’t matter when you told me I am still not going with you…I’ll get a job…a flat of my own…and you lot can live happy ever after in bloody LA”  Tina says angrily through her sobbing.
