Six o’clock came and the gang arrived, minus Bette. Bette was at home and had watched everyone arrive. She was very uncertain of how Tina would be with her and dreaded the wee ones hating her. She had tried to think of many ways to get out of her trip but could not. She sat until 6.30 then decided that she was making matters worse by not going next door. She walked around to the back of the house where she could hear everyone. She was casually dressed in dark jeans and a white vest. When she saw Tina her heart raced. Tina wore a short pair of denim shorts that sat on her hips and a black vest that was tight and displayed her curvy womanly body. Bette felt her heart skip as if she had never even met Tina before. Tina turned to look once she heard the click of the gate.

Tina: (with a quiet and shy voice, looking at the ground),..hey you

Bette: hey you.brought you some flowers and some candy for the girls, is that ok or do you want me to take it back..

Tina: no, no they can have it.once they have had some other stuff.ok?

Bette: yeah

Tina could see the pain in Bette’s eyes and could not help but walk over to her and take the flowers from her. As she did she slid into Bette’s arms and gave her a long slow kiss. Bette melted into her and responded by holding Tina tight. Tina pulled back and looked into Bette’s eyes..

Tina: babyI dont want to fight and dont want there to be any bad feeling between us.im sorry you cant come with usbut I understand you have work and that you will be back as soon as you canright?

Bette: oh Tina, I have felt so bad all dayI dont deserve youI am so sorry

Tina put her finger over her lips and whispered into her ear with an angels voice

Tina: baby I love youand I gave myself to you last night..remember..you caught menow let me be there for you..I will be waiting for you to come home.and then we can plan another trip

Bette looked at Tina and knew that she was in the arms of someone special. Someone who understood her and wanted her. Just then Emma and Lucy came running to Bette and nearly knocked her over.

The girls: Bette, Bette, we cant wait till Friday, what time do we go, oh Bette ..

They were so excited. Bette looked from them to Tina and then back to the wee ones. She tried to speak but couldnt. Instead she kissed them on the cheek, smiled a feeble smile at Tina and left.Tina understood and let her gofor now..
